“An honest review”
It seems like the owner has either sold this business or is very out of the picture..there seems to be a big difference in the charming and cultivated historic decor and the management, which is indifferent and blaze to customer service. This place was probably once quite charming but Its many cons mean we wish we stayed somewhere else. Pros- purified water and filtered coffee machine is available, the bed is comfortable.

“Staff very helpful made our stay more enjoyable”
There is a kitchen available to all guests along with comunial refrigerator..Easy ride by trolley bus to historical centre. Short walk from there to Mercado Central where you can sample various foods for lunch. We enjoyed our stay and will probably visit again. If you use the Banco Pacifico money dispenser you will be confronted with 3 account box choices savings/debit/credit card pick the wrong one you might be denied money

Great hostel in Mariscal Sucre, Quito. Good value for money, comfortable bed, secured place, big rooms and cosy places to chill.

“We would not recommend which is a shame as the staff, especially the guy on the desk, was really really helpful.”
Staff were helpful; guy at the desk could speak English which helped although we do try to communicate in Spanish! He helped get us a good value taxi to various places and introduced us to the App ‘In Driver’. Great restaurant for breakfast and lunch on site. Only occasionally open in the evenings though. Cheap hostel (but we would expect even a little better for the money). Secured entrance gate.

The staff were super nice - family budiness - bed comfortable, the shared areas (roof terrace, library, living room) comfy, the restaurant very good and cheap, neighborhood lively.
