“Comfortable Room, but Not Great Value for the Price”
The room was exactly as shown in the photos and perfectly sufficient for a short stay. The bed was large and comfortable, the TV was a nice addition, and the overall room was good. The staff was friendly, and there was always hot water in the shower.

The room was spacious and very nice. We were happy for huge bed! The breakfast was simple - could be a little bit better, but good!:) The place is super nice street very close to big market for shopping. Staff was super nice to us. We could use the kitchen.

“Comfortable stay”
Good location. I was travelling by bus into north Quito and leaving from south Quito the next day and this place is in between the two bus terminals. Lovely staff - friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included. The kitchen has purified water for drinking. I could also boil some water in the evening to make tea.

“Best option in Quito”
If there is a better place to stay in Quito, I don't want to know. Arupo is perfect. A beautiful and super comfortable space, in a very busy neighborhood with lots of options, but with the hostal located on a much quieter street. The highlight, however, is the incredible staff: friendly, smiling, efficient. It will always be my choice when I return to Quito.

Host is super friendly and very welcoming. Room was really good and bed was comfortable. Asked for extra blanket because room was a little cold. Enjoyed breakfast.

The staff were terrific, very friendly and very helpful. The location was good, close to some very good restaurants. The hotel was very nice, with rooms to sit and read it and it was very clean and attractive.

“Great place to stay”
Wow .. such a spacious room .. the bed was massive, as well as being very comfortable. The staff were really friendly. The hotel was located near to some nice restaurants etc however there was some noise from a nearby bar, even on a Monday night. But with ear plugs i could sleep. Overall a great experience

A very comfortable and welcoming guesthouse in Mariscal, set on a quiet road near to bars and restaurants. The family who run the hotel were incredibly friendly, making a delicious breakfast of fruit, eggs and juice every morning. You can use the guest kitchen or relax on the terrace or in the cosy lounge. The bedroom was the most comfortable we have had in South America, quiet, dark, comfortable bed and a hot shower.

“Super friendly Quito hostel”
Convenient location near Plaza Fochs, bus lines, several restaurants, a supermarket, a laundry and a great bakery. The bed was comfortable and the street noise wasn't bad at all. WiFi as pretty good at around 12 Mbps. Neighborhood seemed safe even at night. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night.
