“Spacious place, good value for money”

The room was really big & spacious with lots of place for storage. Kitchen was really functional and the water filter was welcome. Bed was really comfortable and shower worked well. Host clearly cared about guests getting a good nights sleep

Lovely place, spotlessly clean. It was very quiet as set well back from road Kitchen was really well equipped, bed was comfortable and shower was good (and hot). There's a space outside with table and chairs. The host Mary was lovely and communicated with us really well.

The kitchen was really well equipped, with drinking water and the lady we met in the house was helpful and kind. The room was nice and spacious!

“Great apartment in Histoic Center of Huehuetenango”

This is an apartment inside a colonial house that was intended to be an aprtment for the matriarch.. The house is basically one level with a couple of courtyards and rooms around the exterior wall. The host is Mary, the daughter of the intended occupant of the apartment. It is a complete apartment with large kitchen, dinning area, bedroom area, and bathroom. Directly out the door is a courtyard. The Historic center central park is 3-4 blocks away, and the supermarket is about the same. Plenty of restaurants and any other type store you might want within a few blocks. i found this accomondation to be very convenient, relaxing, and really like or in fact living with a Guatemalan family. Privacy was respected at all times. I can recommend this place for the location. value, comfort, and cultural experience.

“Nice apartment inside authentic family home”

The apartment is located inside a original authentic family home. We were met by one of the sisters of the owner who was super welcoming and kind. Speaking Spanish is advised although the owner speaks English and was available through whatsapp. The apartment has everything you need for an comfortable stay and make a nice homemade meal. Especially the shower was a warm welcome after showering with electric showers for weeks (can be a challenge sometimes) There is a big supermarket nearby and the city centre is a 5min walk. The price for one night and two people is 305 qtz (tax included) I'd say good value for the money.

“Very central and safe place to stay!”

Xelanos is in a silent and safe location, just about a 10min walk from the city center. The room is located in a courtyard which is protected by a strong wooden door. The owners will also be your neighbours, they are very friendly people and will be happy to help you!
