Really enjoyed staying here and extended my stay as I liked Xela more than I thought I would! Don Ramon was a wonderful receptionist/host and a mine of information as to where to get the various colectivos to various places. The room was very large and clean, the bed very comfortable and the shower had hot water 👍🏼 The patio area was great to meet people and relax in and the green plants everywhere made it a little oasis. It is also 1 block from the Parque Central so very well situated👏🏼

“They confirmed our booking but didn't actually have the room.”
we did want Kasa Kamelot so we came back the next day and booked a room - of course, with no relation to our online booking which they had no idea of. The hotel itself was clean, had hot water ( Xela standards - keep the water flow weak ) and we felt comfortable even though the room was very old and Wifi was not that great. I would possibly return here but have a plan B ready.

The location is unbeatable, only half a block from the park, but be careful booking as they have 2 locarions. The property is full of character, old colonial building with 2 courtyards, kitchen, brightly painted, and full of hanging plants. The rooms are big. The bed is comfortable.
