A lovely old building with dorms and private rooms for an affordable price. They provide baskets for your food which is a nice way of keeping organised. The rooms are comfortable and large. There is a Guatemalan style washing basin that's handy for handwashing items. Centrally located (5 mins from the parque central, 1 min from the mercado municipal). The kitchen has a large array of pots and pans, sharp knives, filtered water and a gas oven. A special mention to the staff who are always on hand to help and provide great suggestions!

“Extremely chill place, good location in Xela”

Very chill place with two big courtyards. Close to everything in central Xela. Easy to get the chicken bus to Zunil around the corner.

A beautiful & tranquil space, mostly respected by the people who use it. Amazing location and with the feeling of walking into the House of the Spirits; it's a place out of time. Every food recommendation from the hostel was 100% perfect - we ate better here than anywhere else in Guatemala. Check out the free walking tour from Quetzaltrekkers - amazing!

Good chilling space and seemed very homely which we loved. There was a water filter attached to the tap, so you could drink as much purified water as you wanted whilst reducing the impact on the environment. Rooms were nice and cosy. Friendly staff 😀
