Overview
Located at the heart of the Central Otago wine region and just a 20-minute drive from Queenstown Airport, Gibbston Valley Lodge and Spa offers luxury accommodation, 5-star personal service, an on-site restaurant and a Day spa. The 24 private villas feature views over the organic vineyards and the mountains of Gibbston. All villas are air conditioned and include a spacious and luxurious indoor living space. They open onto a private, secluded, covered deck and sunny courtyard. The large bathroom has a walk-in shower, separate bath and dual basins as well as premium, locally made beauty products. Guests will be able to enjoy a wide variety of experiential packages, tailored to their needs and interests. This could include hiking or cycling along the trails on the 1000-acre Gibbston Valley Station, wine tastings and educational winery tours, spa treatments, indulgent wine and food packages and trips into Queenstown and Arrowtown. The restaurant offers an a la carte menu, with gluten-free and vegan options available. Our professional chefs have designed the menu to pair perfectly with the award-winning, handcrafted Gibbston Valley Wines. The Lodge restaurant has meals prepared from organic and sustainably produced ingredients, grown in the chef’s garden or carefully selected from local artisan suppliers. AJ Hackett Bungy Jumping - Kawarau Bridge is 1.3 km from the lodge, while Queenstown Event Centre is 18 km away.

Gibbston Valley is a beautiful location and the spacious, well-appointed villas are positioned to capture views and sunshine. The lodge itself has a great aesthetic vibe and staff are friendly and professional.

“Perfect little getaway”
Our stay at Gibbston Valley Lodge was exceptional. Our lodge was incredibly comfortable, clean, and perfect for a romantic getaway. We did the full wine and cave tour, which was very impressive and like something I have never seen before. The restaurant delivered delicious food with a detail to every dish. Lastly, each and every staff member were very kind and welcoming. Thank you to you all- we will definitely be back!

Fabulous location. Close to all the wineries, restaurants and cafes of Gibbston Valley and Arrowtown. Love that there is a cycle trail right out side the door with use of bikes to reach wineries of Gibbston Valley and Arrowtown. Villas well appointed and beautifullly presented with large bathtubs and gas fires and an outdoor area with table and chairs looking out at the vines and mountains. Spa pools available onsite. Great restaurant at the lodge but can also us the vineyards restaurant.
