Featuring spectacular views over the town, lake and mountains from every room, Balmoral Lodge offers free Wi-Fi and a spacious guest lounge. Queenstown city centre is just 800 metres away. Balmoral Lodge Queenstown is decorated with elegant furnishings, antiques and fine art on the walls. Each room is furnished with large comfortable armchairs, a TV, DVD player and refrigerator. The room we stayed in was just as we expected; the view from the window was beautiful. It's true that going to the city center from the accomodation requires walking up and down steep hills, but if you're prepared for that beforehand, it wasn't too difficult. However, it might be tough if you're carrying a suitcase.

Good location and nice view It is too old property and all facilities need to update: 1. the room is no soundproof. 2. water heater can’t supply enough hot water for shower when owner rents out more rooms. 3. The owner always made excuses when you feedback to her

Balmoral Lodge was a wonderful place to stay, and I truly enjoyed spending our days here in Queenstown. Cis (the manager) was extremely kind to us. We arrived later than our scheduled check-in time, and he waited for us and welcomed us in a great way. She also helped us with a laundry service that was not included, yet he was kind enough to offer it anyway. The view from the room makes everything incredible—you wake up to one of the best views in Queenstown. For the price we paid, I believe it was absolutely worth it. We thought the room would be a bit bigger than it actually was, but even so, I really liked it. The service was excellent, and the room had many thoughtful details such as good coffee, tea, and very good cleanliness.

Simply exceptional, on all fronts. Stayed for 5 nights and it was super comfortable. the daily housekeeping including the cleaning, muffins, milk, chocolates refill was a touching gesture. The owner/host is a lady with a golden heart.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Balmoral lodge. It was the perfect base to explore Queenstown. The view from the room was absolutely amazing. The room was so comfy. The owners were helpful and friendly.

Beautifully located just enough out of town to enjoy the quiet and close enough to walk into town (and not too much of the hills back). Not too many guests, so it was relatively quiet/private. The views from the main area were beautiful. Stocked with tea and coffee as well as daily cleaning.

Stunning home, super comfy bed and beautifully decorated! Room had everything needed, and was spotlessly clean, gorgeous garden and our host was super friendly and helpful. The views are stunning and having the lounge with special treats to while away the evening and enjoy the beautiful views of Queenstown was a lovely touch to this wonderful property.
