“Homely”
This was a lot smaller than a lot of hostels and it felt more homely which was nice. The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned every day. You got 2 pillows and the duvet was thick which was comfy.

“Great stay in Queenstown”
Friendly staff who were very accommodating to a late check in. Parking was mostly available, with street parking close by too. Location was amazing with a lovely view as you step out. Value for money was great considering the location. Hostel itself was quiet, and we were able to access facilities whenever we needed. Beds were comfortable and duvets/towels fresh.

“Will not book again due to the parking issue”
The kitchen with ample cutlery , pots, pans, cooking facilities, and lots of kitchen towels. Boxes with labels are provided, making it easy to store food.

“Stay here. Just do it.”
We had a double room and found our stay just perfect. Central location, good size room with space for 2 x big bags. Handing space in our room was a bonus. Loved the heater, the bed was comfortable and 2 x pillows really appreciated. Loved that there was multiple bathrooms and toilets to use. Super good internet too. We previously stayed in a more central bunk dorm bed arrangement for not much less money and this place rates much higher and had more space and comfort. Look, it’s not a polished accomodation but the vibes were great, staff super helpful and the fellow lodgers were great! Would stay again. No issues!

“Disappointing”
Queenstown is very popular and this was a late booking with limited choice. I would not chose to go back to Alpine Lodge again.

The man at the reception was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. My stay was really smooth and enjoyable, everything worked perfectly and I honestly have nothing to complain about. I had a great time!
