The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. He called to confirm our arrival time and waited for us after 21:00, past their closing time.

The staff would not allow us to check in after 9pm and left us with our family of 7 (5 children) stranded on the road in a dangerous country - their response when we were communicating with them en-route to them was very unhelpful and not caring of our situation (being delayed due to bad traffic from Cape Town - a 10-hour road trip). They were extremely unhelpful and inhospitable in their attitude toward us. They refused to refund us even though they were not willing to check us in after 9pm! We were forced to make last minute arrangements to stay elsewhere and lose all money paid to them.

I think their time of opening and closing, they need to be a little bit flexible on that. Just imagine there was a flight delay and you can’t make it on time. They will not even bother to answer your call because you are calling after hours. If they can better this, they can be the best B&B in Queenstown.
