It seems that the hôtel has been refurbished not that long ago. Room large and comfy. Large free car park. But it has no lift, uneasy with big cases.

“Once they out the rail in, the place will boom”
Parking was very good. Easy check in. Great staff especially Sarah. Really good shower, lots of pressure and hot. Stayed in room 105. Had laundry facilities even though the dryer was faulty.

“Good value for money”
Good value. Old but clean. Major road works in the street. Free parking on site and breakfast included which was a real bonus.

“My room was suddenly not available anymore!”
On my way to Quebec City I got a call by a staff member of Hotel du Nord - my room was not available anymore. What? That was my reaction. The caller offered me to help with finding a new place, asked what my preferences were and booked another hotel for me. In the end, it worked for me, although the replacement was in an older building with no comfort at all. It was Hotel Charles-Alexandre - Par Aneyro, and the receipt was emailed from Expedia. I am wondering if there is some kind of scheme behind this. This older hotel is quite charming though and it is located in a great area, next to the Art Museum with lots of shops and restaurants and close to Old Quebec.

“Excellent experience overall”
The location is excellent, however all around is under construction and was a bit hard to get there. Breakfast time was very good Room was very nice and clean
