Very comfortable bed, superb location, nice to always have snacks available, cozy fire pit

The hotel is in the heart of old city. Everything is walkable. The accommodations well on the smaller side were perfect.

Its location was perfect for visiting all of the sites, we both enjoyed the novel room set up but found them totally suited to a comfortable stay

The location is perfect. There is one small ground level outdoor courtyard and a large 2nd floor rooftop patio provide excellent social areas. Run of the self service kitchen with food supplies provided gives the feeling that you're staying with friends. The paid 3rd party Parking recommended by staff worked well.

It was walking distance to everywhere, the location was great. The kitchen concept was also really great since you can make your own food if you choose to do so.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We did not actually stay at the Hotel AtypiQ. As we arrived late, check-in was at the adjoining Hotel Champlain. We were informed at check-in that our room in the AtypiQ was not available because the bed was broken, but we had been rebooked in the Champlain. All very smooth and transparent, so thank you to the front desk and management for being proactive. Hotel Champlain is not “atypical” — no beds that raise/lower, no make-your-own-breakfast — but it was a perfectly fine place for our stay in Quebec. The location is great, right in the middle of the Old Town. The staff was friendly. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast included.

We loved the modern vibe of the hotel, which it maintained while remaining full of character. The room was so versatile with the lift-away bed, and really well designed. The breakfast was great, we loved being able to cook our own breakfasts with food supplied by the hotel. It’s in a great position - just a few minutes walk to the old town. And the staff were so friendly and helpful - special mention to Elena who was a real star!

Good for travellers on a budget. Breakfast included - Plenty of eggs(cook your own eggs), bread, cereal, yoghurts Close to everything walking distance to sights, resturants, and take aways. Shower was in good, clean, hygene, no signs of mould. Great friendly staff. Sound proof room.
