I tell all my friends who are looking for budget accommodation in Old Quebec that the Auberge St-Louis is unique in its price range. I stay there every year.

The room was small but had everything I needed. The location was very convenient, right in the heart of the Old Town, making it easy to get around. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the soundproofing was not very good, so I could hear doors opening and people talking in the hallway. Fortunately, my room was on the ground floor, so I didn't have to carry my luggage up any stairs.

Perfect location, for the price..exactly what we need; a place to sleep in the old Québec. The lady at reception was very welcoming. The bed was comfy and the view was beautiful! Big plus; the brunch restaurant La Buche is across the street when you are starving the next morning!

Firstly, the staff were very nice and super helpful. The location is A1, right in the centre of the old town and just minutes from all sights. The check in was easy too. Lastly the room was simple, but spacious enough and fine for a solo traveller.
