Cozy, well equipped, though slightly cramped 2 bedroom apartment, in a lovely neighborhood with many small, but lovingly maintained gardens fronting several blocks of similarly designed, 2-story, 4 and 6 apartment units. Though the one-story stairway entry and exit could be problematic (see below) all three adjoining neighbors were friendly and very accommodating. No keys were provided - nor needed, said the neighbors, who were attentive and aware of anyone entering the building. (We did not bring, nor leave any valuables in the apartment.) The neighbors were quick to inform us (in a neighborly, friendly manner) which off-street parking space was reserved for us, and where we should avoid parking. The small, simple kitchen is reasonably well equipped, with most basic equipment and supplies available (basic dishes, flatware, cookware, condiments, flour, oil, napkins, paper towels, etc.) Though these supplies appeared more haphazard than strategic: other visitors might find an essential item or two missing upon arrival. Beds and bedding were simple, clean and well maintained, but show reasonable signs of age; the same with the bathroom and shower. We were early to bed, and quick to depart in the mornings, so I suspect we were pretty good guests from the neighbors' perspective; but among the three of us, over our 2+ days there, we traipsed up and down the noisy stairway a lot.
