The hotel is within easy walking distance from the downtown high-speed train station. Note: Qingdao has several train stations. The seaside location gives it a touch of Chinese holiday flair. We had a nice room with a sea view. The rooms are a bit dated but still okay and clean. To communicate with the staff, you'll need to rely on a translation app. From the hotel, it's easy to explore the old town with its historic German-influenced architecture.

“Dirty and old rooms, poor value for money”
The breakfast was quite good although the menu at the buffet table was the same every day. The location is perfect, the seafront is just across the street. There are some nice beaches, museums, parks and other showplaces near the hotel. The staff is pretty attentive and friendly.

The location of this hotel is excellent. The staff on the front desk were very helpful when we wanted to change a mattress.
