“Beautiful rural oasis”

The hosts were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the cave room which is truly one of a kind, complete with a lovely spa bath. The terrace and pool are so tranquil . The location is nice and rural but only a 20 min walk to a town with several restaurants. The walk to the nearest beach is lovely (but quite steep!) .

Recently, sensitively renovated, with respect to local history and culture; bouquets fresh from the hotel's garden, beautiful antiques and an incredible regional, modernist art collection. Stunning grounds and pool, with serene views of the Mediterranean. Breakfast amazing, with a comprehensive array of options, including André's varying, home-made pastries and expertly-crafted espresso. Lina and André's consideration, attention to detail, warm, respectful and relaxed attitude, ensure the perfect stay!

Everything is perfect. Andre is the perfect host. Nothing is too much effort, he’s incredibly friendly and generally a great guy. The location is perfect. Just a short walk to the town where there are bars and great restaurants, also a small shop. It is also a nice walk down to the beach. But because it’s on the edge of the village it’s so quiet and relaxing. The property is perfect. Each of the rooms are beautiful and high spec, the pool is great and not at all busy. The breakfast… wow! Personalised to our every desire, top quality and so much of it. We didn’t need to eat until dinner.

The location and the garden (pomegranates from the garden are served for breakfast) are very relaxing. Andre is the best host, spoiling us every day with a personalized breakfast!

We loved everything about our stay at L'Eremita. André and Lina were the warmest and most hospitable hosts and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. They really were so kind and generous. The breakfasts were amazing (full cooked breakfast 😋, omelettes, continental and massive fruit platters) and every attention to detail in this wonderful hotel should be applauded. Fresh fruit and vegetables come directly from the garden or are sourced by Andre early in the morning from the market. All our dietary quirks were very considerately managed. The setting is breathtaking and very peaceful, with fantastic facilities. Only birdsong and donkey to hear. The hotel and rooms are kept impeccably clean. It was really a joy to stay at L'Eremita and to be part of this amazing project. We would absolutely love to visit again.

“Exceptional serenity”

This boutique hotel is a true gem in Gozo, especially if you are looking for a serene place where you manage to relax and unwind! The host Andre is very welcoming and tries his best to meet your needs :)! The breakfast was also divine, different options to choose from and every single item was freshly made. “L-eremita” lives up its name as the hotel is in a quant area, where all you hear are the birds and nature surrounding the place.

Excellent boutique hotel in an incredible location, with fabulous views and lovely breezes even on a very hot day, as well as, wonderful art collection, two swimming pools and very hospitable and warm hosts. Additionally, lovely breakfast cooked to order. Everything is brand new in a beautifully restored ancient building. Everything is also super clean. Highly recommended!

We stayed three days at this wonderful boutique hotel in the Qala area. Throughout our stay, we were pampered in every way, from the abundant and excellent breakfasts to the kindness of the owners. Andre, in particular, proved to be an excellent host, attentive to all his guests' needs and always ready to resolve any issues that might arise. The hotel's two pools are breathtaking, especially at sunset with a spectacular view of the sea and the Maltese countryside. We will recommend this place to all our friends and will make sure to return!

Andre and his team were amazing, nothing was too much for them! Breakfast each day was delicious, we chose each day what we wanted the next. It was fresh and plentiful. It was a very peaceful hotel, and we were often the only ones at one of the two pools, but there were plenty of Sunbeds for if it got busy! The views from our rooms and the pool areas were stunning, it was hard to leave!

We had such a wonderful stay at this boutique hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the staff, who went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The views are impeccable & the hotel itself is full of character—stylish, intimate, and beautifully designed with thoughtful details throughout. Our room was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast each morning was delicious, great options and loved the homemade pastries!
