“A great authentic place to stay”

Great place to enjoy an authentic experience. George’s house was so homely and had a beautiful outdoor area where we enjoyed dinner. It was great having off street parking. Easy walk down stairs into town and great exercise when returning home. Great internet and spotlessly clean. We loved staying here and George was so hospitable and caring, checking in on us during our stay.

Wonderful host. Beautiful traditional house. Loved the view from the balcony. Great outdoor space in the back with shade.

“Home away from home”

So lovely having an entire house to spread out and enjoy. The host thought of everything to make you feel at home. The kitchen was fully equipped with thoughtful things like oil & vinegar, paper towels etc. Comfy bed, lovely lounge dining room with views, a great back courtyard with table and chairs, sun loungers. Yes there are a lot of steps but they are gradual steps but you can also go by road or part road, part steps. The host helped arrange a taxi for us to go to Nestor’s Palace and is very responsive.

“Wonderful Pylos Experience”

It’s like going back in time with authentic historic features amended with a super comfortable new bed. We loved the flair of the place, the plantation shutters, the spotless cleanliness, the outside sitting areas with flowers and herbs garden in the back and a seaview balcony in the front. The lovely hosts welcomed us with Tsipouro. Thanks Anastasia & George!!

Authentic, traditional village house. Lovely attention to detail, with pressed embroidered cotton curtains, raw honey, unprocessed sea salt and local olive oil. Clean and comfortable. The original furniture and fittings a reminder of a slower more sensible time. The highlight was the warmth and generosity of the host, George, and his lovely sister, Anastasia.

A chance to stay in a traditional Greek home. Bed and bathroom very comfortable. Washing machine and kitchen very good. Balcony with a bit of a sea view. George was helpful and we enjoyed the ouzo he left for us. Parking on site.

George was around quite a lot of the time and is very helpful friendly and informative. His communication prior to our arrival was good and very helpful regarding directions. The house while relatively basic was very clean and well presented for guests. Beds are comfortable and kitchen has all one needs for basic food preparation. The small shady patio behind the house has a table with chairs and is pleasant for outside eating. Location of the house is in a quiet back street a short distance from the town centre with a wide choice of bars, restaurants and food shops. Pylos Town is also well located for making visits to other places of interest. The availability of a dedicated off-road parking space we very welcome.

A lovely old typical good sized Greek city house with a very pretty courtyard with morning sun and balcony overhanging the quiet street for evening sun. A very welcoming owner.

The amount of space, having a separate eat-in kitchen, the outside terrace and little garden, the off-street parking. The welcome items on the kitchen table were also appreciated.

near the main square in pylos, quiet, beautiful traditional house, authentic, George was very nice to us and helpful, thank you Georg for the hospitality to my family. the garden is very coasy. we warmly recommend this house and the host to everyone, families but also couples.

Once we made contact everything was fine. George was really helpful and made sure we got there quickly. Outside space was lovely. Comfy table and chairs. Plenty of kitchen appliances etc, and info. George works hard to make sure you don't need anything. The apartment was super clean, air con a bonus, and even a fan.
