Everything! Not even a block from the beach, with a tiny grocery store, bar and pharmacy just around the corner. A small, lovely hôtel (traditional architecture) offering lovely big studios (smaller but modern and pleasant bathroom with walk-in shower and the luxury of an in-shower shelf, so annoyingly rare in hotels!) with a small private garden with patio furniture. Wonderfully comfortable bed and sofa as well as a huge easy chair. Great Nesspresso machine and plenty of capsules provided. Separate beach towels provided!). The cupboard-hidden kitchen is small but has everything needed (including a cleverly small dishwasher). Lots of lights, outlets and storage place. Luxurious. The detail of a lot of books in the room! The fact that the lady at reception suggested street parking would be easily available and there may be no need to use the additional price private parking I had asked to book (she was right!). Very nice staff. Fruit basket and bottled water were a lovely touch (best apricots ever!). Excellent air conditioning, powerful but unintrusive. No cleaning, bed-making etc for stay under 5 nights, but not really needed for a solo traveller, and additional or fresh towels were offered.

We loved the Villa du Pyla. The place was immaculate. The room was very well designed, such a beautiful space. We enjoyed having a glass of wine on the balcony and enjoying the sea air.

Very nicely renovated villa with super comfortable beds. It felt very special to stay in a house like this in this beach location. Was too cold to swim but top spot in summer. Everything was perfect.

Incredible property, smelt amazing everywhere. We’re still talking about how good it smelt. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Wonderfully chilled environment, feels luxurious but homely and not stuffy. The room was exquisite, so comfortable and had everything we needed. Also had wonderful Le Labo products in the bathroom. Free access to great bikes, which were perfect for sight seeing. Within great proximity to key attractions, like Dune du Pilat and to catch the short ferry to Cap Ferret. The staff provided great recommendations, that made our trip really magical.

Location was great, we love this area and have visited often, this apart-hotel was literally seconds to the beach, and 15 minutes walk to Le Moulleau which has lots of places to eat, shops, beach and ferry to Cap Ferret, with super convenient shops only a minute away for food and drink and plenty of parking on street as well as a couple of places to eat. The style of appartment was very nice, well designed bar a few things mentioned below. Nice garden, but had really hoped for a view, so if you are wanting a sea view (booking.com said all rooms have these...), do check when booking as not all do and we were a bit diappointed we could not enjoy a view and see the sea. Having said that the garden was nice and we enjoyed having the extra space as a family.
