Set facing Arcachon Bay, a 2-minute walk from the beach and 3.7 km from the Dune of Pilat, La Guitoune offers a terrace, an onsite restaurant and a large bar where you can enjoy a cocktail. La Guitoune offers 24 air-conditioned rooms equipped with a satellite TV, a coffee machine and a private bathroom with a separate toilet. All rooms have a terrace or a balcony. The building was renovated by designer Bambi Sloan. The restaurant’s chef serves fresh dishes made with local products. Breakfast is served each morning in the restaurant. At La Guitoune, seminars and meetings can be held in an atypical private room with a capacity of 30 people. Biscarosse is 33 km away.

What a joy it was to stay at this beachside institution! Fabulous staff who were helpful yet unobtrusive. Reda and Jade were particularly friendly. The hotel had a quirky and unique interior mixing retro pop and colourful crustaceans with an old school, art deco glamour. The food was exceptional and the rooms comfortable and well equipped. Totally charmed by this place with its careful attention to detail, relaxed vibe and high quality service. We visited in early May when there were few people and the streets and beach were quiet. Nothing we didn’t like, parking might be tight in the high season but we had no issues.
