i was locked out side my room and the front desk wasn’t there even they said its 24hrs , I had to spent the night out until 9am when they finally came

“They will cancel or shift you around without prior notice.”
Nothing because after paying weeks in advance, we were told there's no space, and we were told we would be shifted to another hotel that was essentially a motel. I immediately requested a refund.

Although breakfast was available time wasn't that long for breakfast. Not sure where to get breakfast. The main reason i stayed there was because of location which was good.

“Hotel has a hostile environment .”
The front-desk person was hostile towards my friends and I from the moment we arrived. The person asked for identification and i had forgotten my ID card home , however i had a picture of the card. I showed him the picture and my bank card ( both have my person identity details) and explained that i'm sorry but I do not have my id card with me. He raised his voice with an impolite tone saying he needs a copy . That's when we suggested to email a copy. Secondly, i wanted to get inside the room but couldn't as my friend was sleeping inside and could not hear my knock. I then went to reception to ask that they open for me. I knocked at reception , the person opened and the first thing they said was " What ?" raising their voice.. I told the person what i need , and they were really annoyed but went up to open the door. They swiped the card at my door and walked away immediately...after taking a few steps , the person turned to me and asked " are you not going to say thank me ? " . So, the person expected me to be polite and say thank you even though they were walking away . It was baffling that he expected a degree of courtesy that he was not willing to give us. The time was late but the hotel offers 24hrs front door service , and i would not have asked if i had an alternative. The person treated us like the hotel was doing us a favour , like our stay there was a bother , like we were not paying customers. This was really disappointing considering the hotel was not cheap at all. Yes, the place was clean and in a convenient location but we still felt it was not worth our money because of the treatment we received. Besides there are other hotels nearby , my other friends stayed in them and were treated with professionalism and common courtesy. These hotels have the same location convenience as they are really close to New Songtan hotel.
