We wanted to spend some time in a quiet peaceful town. This place was a good location for us as we explored the Gangwon region. It had space for a little kid to roam around and a quiet space for a big kid to do their thing. We really wanted to experience being in a quiet area away from the busy city life and this ticks a lot of boxes for us

we had a wonderful stay in Sicily Pension 🫶🏻🫶🏻 the owner is very kindd entertain to our needs and help to call up a taxi for us, and even gave us orange when we checkout. he is very excited to teach us to play the snow sledding which a lifetime experience for us, we love it!! Sicily Pension is sooo beautiful to every inch of their landscape, feels like brings your kdrama dream alivee. Heater works well, they have bidet, the home is sooo cozy. definitely a very recommended stay if you are having a trip to pyeongchang 🫶🏻🫶🏻

The property is about a 20-minute drive from the train station, but the setting more than makes up for it—especially in winter, when everything is beautifully blanketed in snow. The host is incredibly welcoming and goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay; he even drove us to the nearest market to pick up takeaways. The home itself is well maintained and wonderfully cozy, staying warm and comfortable even during peak winter when temperatures drop sharply. Our kids absolutely loved the experience, and we’re already looking forward to visiting again.

Sisilli Pension is easy to reach by car from Seoul to Pyeongchang, and I highly recommend driving since it’s located in a quiet, deeper area. Once you arrive, the view is absolutely breathtaking. It’s far from tall buildings and surrounded by nature, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Pyeongchang Ski Resort is reachable within about half an hour, which is very convenient, yet the town itself is not busy or crowded. I visited during winter, and the outdoor area around the house was covered in snow, creating a calm and cozy atmosphere. A great place to relax and enjoy nature.

Overall, the experience was excellent. All facilities were in good working condition. The accommodation provided one queen bed, one single bed, and one queen futon with plenty of blankets, which made our stay very comfortable. The owner was extremely kind and welcomed us warmly upon arrival. Although the owner does not speak English fluently, they use a translation app, which made communication easy and smooth. This place is very suitable for families. We were able to play in the snow right in front of the house, and the slide was free to use with no extra charges. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The house was absolutely lovely—a cozy little cottage in the village, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and a serene atmosphere. A small river flowed just behind the house, which made the setting even more peaceful. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. He picked us up from the train station and even shared a plate of sweet tangerines with us. We were lucky enough to experience snowfall on our second night—what a blessing! The owner also kindly taught my daughter the proper technique to play with the sledge, and she had an amazing time. By the way, there is a Japanese bidet in the bathroom, which is a big plus! Mona Yongpyong Dragon Plaza is about 30 minutes away by taxi (approximately RM100).

Small resort away from noise and traffic. Peaceful surroundings and welcoming hosts. They brought us a plate of traditional pastries freshly baked by madame. Delicious. Plenty of outside space to enjoy and you can go for a forest walk straight from the property.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful and peaceful place. It’s perfectly located near two stunning national parks, making it a great choice for families who enjoy nature. The host has a few friendly cats and dogs in the garden - my son especially loved playing with them. There’s also a trampoline and swing, which made the outdoor space even more fun for kids. The property has a lovely shared terrace with a small fountain, and each house has its own private terrace for outdoor dining or barbecues. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. The host was incredibly kind and generous - I even got to try some delicious Korean cake she baked. We would absolutely recommend staying here.

Spacious, tidy room with a lovely ambiance! The room and bathroom are equipped with heaters. Even the carpet on the floor is heated. No worries about the cold weather!
