Overview
Rooms surrounded by a 4-hectare park are offered in Puyehue, only a 20-minute drive from Puyehue National Park. Guests can relax in the cosy living room by the fireplace. Lodge El Taique has rooms equipped with heating and private bathrooms with showers. All rooms feature Rupanco lake views and free Wi-Fi access. Antillanca Ski Centre is 44 km away and downtown Osorno is 69 km away. The tour desk can arrange shuttles and offer tips for getting around the area. A daily buffet breakfast with coffee, tea, milk, juice, homemade bread and jams is offered and French dishes can be enjoyed at El Taique restaurant.

“A great one night stop that we wished could’ve been more.”
This lodge is a little off the beaten track but well worth braving gravel roads to get here. Once you arrive, enjoy this slice of Chilean Patagonia! Rooms are large and comfortable with beautiful views! Wish we made time to spend several days rather than 1 night. Breakfast was excellent. After two weeks on instant coffee, a cup of fresh brewed was enjoyed.

Amazing views of the volcano and landscape, we loved the hot tub with the cold shower, the signature drinks at the bar and the staff is super friendly and attentive.

“Heaven-Haven”
Our first test in any accommodation we spend the night in, is always about cleanliness and ‘lodge El Taique’ past with flying colours. Clean and nice smelling linen. The room was surprisingly large with a great view of the lake ( volcanoes too we told , but clouded when we visited). The friendliness and helpfulness of Audrée and Mickael made us feel very welcome. This haven is a wonderful place to relax and wind down or to use as a base. I wish we had stayed longer..

Dinner was amazing. Best dish we had during 5 weeks in Chile. Breakfast was also great. Located very nice with beautiful views from our room. Bed was really comfy. Owners gave tips about the area.

The views were stunning. The breakfast was amazing (home made French bread, home made yoghurt, and good coffee). Because of our schedule we only stayed one night, but we should have stayed at least two!

beautiful location, the food served in the small restaurant was fabulous and the views of the volcanoes was amazing. The owners were incredibly accommodating and very kind. Each cabana had their own large quiet area with your own patio and outdoor barbecue, with plenty of wildlife and a very efficient wood burning pellet stove for those slightly colder evenings. At the bottom of the track is a small but well stocked family run mini market with home grown fresh veg and fruit.

“Beautiful views, excellent food, wonderful accommodations.”
Mikael & Audrey, the owners and operators of this amazing lodge greeted us upon arrival. Having traveled from the United States it was wonderful to find they both spoke English well. They gave us great tips and information for traveling around the area. In the lodge the beds and pillows were comfortable and plush. Exceeding our expectations. The restaurant provided amazing food. We both had steak that was the best that we have had in Chile. The deserts were freshly made and delicious, all topped off with an extensive wine collection from Chilean growers. The absolute stunning surprise at dinner was the amazing views of the volcanoes just outside our window. The lodge is about 20 minutes from the nearest town, however with the great breakfast and dinner we found we easily had everything we need. Wish we could have stayed longer.
