“Ok for one night”

It’s clean, the staff is friendly , the location is good, the shower has good pressure.

Kitchen is dirty and rats are running here and there. Need to clean it.

Nice location, suitable rooms and stay in general. Would recommend overall.

“Very good for the price”

Hadris who works there was very nice. Very helpful and friendly. Excellent English. Gave me a vapouriser and there was a mosquito net. Shutters in room open to let in a breeze if you want. Plug and light switch next to bed which is not always the case here. Saw some cool birds by the lake in the morning and a brown mongoose. It's not the ritz but to be expected for the price . Single bed was a bit short for me (186cm).

“Wasted opportunity”

It's a beautiful location on the edge of a coconut plantation and, with a small woodland lake, it's perfect for birdwatchers or a brief budget stopover. Old world bungalow with a lot of history. Helpful staff.

“Brilliant place to stop on the way to Wilpattu”

Lovely quiet place close to the town. Staff were very friendly and helped us with everything. Bus stop is almost outside to take you to the town. The staff helped us with planning our onward journey. Rooms are basic, but nice. Air con and a fan. There is a kitchen area and seating all around the property to enjoy the evening.

The architect and the atmosphere was incredible in this location. Very nature friendly location and the hotel and the rooms are very nice and very comfortable. They have plenty of activities to do at the stay.

“Traditional house”

When the sun goes down you see really big bats in the large tree in the garden. We enjoyed the surrounding of the old traditional house, option to play badminton, the beds with good musquito nets, airco in the rooms. You can ask the man present anything.

“Peaceful and relaxing amongst nature”

The nature all around was lovely and we saw so many varieties of animals.

The room was spacious and at a very affordable price. The area around the room is so green, you can see a lot of chipmunks, beautiful birds and if you're lucky monkeys too. Ashfal organized for me the safari to Wilpattu National Park for a very good price. If I'll pass again from Puttalam I'll definitely stay again in this nice nature resort 😊

The host was so lovely and I had a very good sleep here. Would recommend!

The host is a very nice and friendly person very eager to help with any problems. He helped up book a safari trip and was very caring with varies other things. The room itself was spacious and had airconditioning.
