“A perfect accommodation for a visit to the region of Amsterdam.”
A nice, cozy apartment in the citycentre of the idyllic town of Purmerend. Near Amsterdam and Hoorn. A diversity of public transportation possibillities are in the direct surroundings of the accommodation. The rooms are large enough for 3 persons and is equipped with a double bed and fully equipped kitchen. A tv and nice large couch is ideal for a afternoon-nap. The stairs to the bathroom and stairs to the bedroom are quite a challenge in the nightly hours, but are charming as well. The communication with the owner was correct and easy. We are staying with him often lately. It's ideal situated near shops and stores, a shoppingmall is about 5 mnts walk. Public transportation in 1 minute. A trainstation is about 15 minutes walk from the accommodation.

The apartment in Purmerend was clean, warm, and nicely decorated, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. One of the highlights is the location: the bus stop to Amsterdam is just a short walk away, and the ride into the city takes about 20 minutes. It's a very pleasant journey that offers a nice view of the natural landscapes surrounding Amsterdam, which was a real bonus. The train station is also easily reachable on foot, making this a perfect base for exploring both the city and the surrounding areas. Communication with Martin was smooth and straightforward. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable stay just outside Amsterdam!

“Disappointing”
We consider that the description on the web site was inadequate and misleading -there was no mention or photograph of the fact that having accessed the building you were faced with climbing / descending a staircase of 16 very steep steps when entering / leaving the apartment. Equally, what was the point of having a photograph of a large detached house other than to give the impression that the apartment was within that property when in fact it was along a twisting and narrow alley in the city centre. If we had known before paying we would have withdrawn our booking.

The apartment is beautiful. very close to the city center, the mall, the supermarket. Everything you need is by a walkable distance. easy to arrive. We enjoy our stay. Clean, the owner was very kind. if you want to visit Purmered, this apartment is the best place to stay.
