We had a pleasant stay at Dragonfly Beachfront Villas. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the beachfront location is lovely. The property was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed our time there. While we felt the value for money did not quite match some of the other exceptional places we stayed at during our Costa Rica trip, it was still a nice and relaxing stay overall.

“Peaceful, a natural paradise”

Dragonfly Beachfront Villas was the perfect place to stay. My husband was able to work, while I explored the surrounding area. The Villas were spacious and sitting on the porch each morning was so peaceful. It's a birders paradise, along with glimpses of the sloths and howler monkeys. Breakfasts were lovely and generous. Fantastic location with Cahuita National Park and Manzanillo-Gandoca Refuge in close driving distance.

What can I say about this beautiful place? I haven't even enough words to describe how wonderful we felt here. Art, jungle, beach, beautiful people, yummy food and the most amazing vibe. This is what you will find Here. Although you have to walk a few meters to swim, you will enjoy the most peaceful ocean wiev from the backyard. The Art pieces of a local painter hanging all around the reception and the breakfast lounge invite you to stay and relax. The yoga sessions are wonderful. The massages are out of this planet! I highly recommend Daniela for Aryuveda massage and Anastasia for deep tissue massage. The most cute dog, Papito will make you feel welcome and the girls at the reception and services are very nice. If you're lucky you get to meet the owners, who are also really nice. I recommend this place if you want to feel relaxed and happy in Punta Uva!

“Wondeful oasis, jungle and beach vibe.”

We loved the jungle vibe, with the private zoo in the garden! 1 min walk to the private beach! We also appreciated warm from Anja and great recommendations. Breakfast was perfect (rich, fresh and smiley ladies serving). Daily joga classes. We miss the jungle sounds already.

This is a really wonderful place to visit - we had such a great time that we plan to come back to the area! This stretch of beach at Punta Uva is quieter and more relaxed than the others which we really liked. Easy to get to town from here. The staff are super friendly and helpful here and set us up with some amazing experiences - breakfast also delicious and most generous!

“Tranquil, beautiful oasis of a hotel”

Beautiful, tranquil, relaxing hotel surrounded by forestry and backing onto a wonderful beach. We had an amazing stay at the Dragonfly. we loved the calm space, watching birds and animals pass by, spending time on the beach. The villa was smallish but had everything we needed and was comfortable. Shops and local attractions were all no more than 15 minutes away. Anya the manageress was always on hand to help. Looking forward to returning

The space is beautiful and location is stunning. You'll find yourself in a jungle oasis filled with beautiful plants and animals just seconds from a white sand carribean beach. The yoga classes on sight are fun and challenging. Staff was incredibly nice. The house is spacious and clean, and has all the amenities you want. You're a beach walk away from several good restaurants.

“Calm and wonderful place”

Everything was wonderful. we really liked the area, the garden, the villa and how it is decorated. it is a calm and nicely organized place. Lots of animals around. The pool side was good and the pool was ok. the villa was just around 50m from ocean. Punta Uva is close by and the beach is wonderful. Puerto Viejo is 10mins by car.

It was really amazing: accommodation, direct to the beach, personnel, yoga activities.Already before arrival we got, after my inquiry to them, usefull infos. Also location is amazing: Punta Uva offered us a wonderful experience during snorkeling- a curious big turtle came close to us and stayed with us for about 5 min. We stayed for one night, however they kept our luggage while we hiked through Manzanillo Park.

“Amazing place!”

Amazing place to relax and calm down direct at the beach. The villas are nice and comfortable and there is a beautiful yoga Shala that can be used privately if there is no classes. The personal is very friendly and helpful. The small breakfast includes croissants and fresh fruits. At the small private beach outside of the hotel you can find sun beds, but be careful to swim outside of the hotel, as there are a lot of coral and stones there. There is a better possibility to swim just couple meter away to the right side of the hotel.

Staff and Orion are supper friendly and always ready to assist. Nature and beach are beautiful. Our villa next to yoga deck has best location far from noisy road and parking area. Breakfast was tasty.

It was adult only and very quiet and peaceful with all the sounds of the rainforest and sea.

We loved this cozy and beautiful place! The bungalows are located in a lush garden, where we encountered several sloths. Through the garden you can reach the beach where you can swim or rent a kayak to go up a river (there are monkeys and other animals). The beach is beautiful and pretty empty. The bungalow is super beautiful and has everything you need. If you have any questions or requests, Orion, the manager of the hotel, will be there for you. Orion gave us so much good advice for activities in the area, restaurant recommendations and of course always made sure we had everything we needed in our bungalow. This was a perfect week for us in this Paradise. Highly recommended!
