“A good stay!”

The staff is extremely nice, with a very qualitative service. The restaurant in particular we did not expect such amazing food. Rooms are great and clean. We stayed one night there as a bridge as we were flying out early the next morning. It did the job perfectly.

We loved everything about our stay. Great location, super friendly staff, great food, thank you, hotel Basalto, we really enjoyed our stay!

Ah well! Hotel Basalto reminds me of a favourite spot in Cornwall UK. Superb location, unbelievable views of uninterrupted coastline to the left & right. Just hits the spot! Hot (bodyboarding) surf if you hit the beach! Added bonus - heated roof top pool

“Five days at Basalto was Paradise!”

My husband and I stayed 5 nights in one of the king suites. The room was clean and welcoming and you can’t beat the incredible views. It felt very private and The bed was comfortable. Our favorite feature was the large sliding door which opened wide to make the large patio part of the living space. We booked a couples massage in our room and that was lovely. From the moment we arrived to our departure the staff was attentive, helpful and friendly. Basalto is located between two accessible beaches with a short walk and they have towels, chairs and umbrellas if needed. The staff booked us taxi rides when we asked and they were always on time or early. It’s a quick 10 minute ride into Punta Mita. The breakfast option included in the stay were plenty and delicious. I wanted to bag up some of the homemade granola it was that good. The lunch and dinner was fabulous! We travel quite a bit and this is some of the best food we’ve had on our vacations. Try the grilled shrimp and Baja tacos!! The cocktails were so refreshing and tasty and they had plenty of wine options as well. We enjoyed the upstairs pool, deck and bar with expansive views. It’s the perfect place to get some sun, watch the ocean, the birds flying and diving, read a book, and cool off in the pool. There is a small gym that has enough to get a quick workout in, but we preferred a run or walk on the beach. We would absolutely not hesitate to recommend Hotel Basalto and we hope to return there again sometime soon!

First I arrived at a room that does not have a view of the sea, the room is very good but the roof pool areas do not invite you to be there. Afterwards I changed to a room that does face the sea and it is very worth it since you can be in your room almost all day. I woke up to a strong smell like a pipe, which I really disliked. The food is spectacular and the restaurant area is very good, the gym is basic but it does its job, it just doesn't have a treadmill. It became overrated to me

Hotel Basalto was an absolute pleasure to stay at. It was quiet, relaxing, and the staff was extremely friendly. Everyone working there was extremely flexible and provided any amenities that we needed. Also, the location is good because it is between two big cities, Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita.

I have very mixed fillings about this place. In general everything was ok, the staff was very friendly however one lady at the reception didn't speak english and on each question she answeared YES which made a lot of confusion. The room had amazing ocen view, had very comfortable bed. The food in the restaurant was very tasty. There is no much in this area so we stayed mostly in hotel. The pool was nice, there was no proper beach access but nice spot to take good pictures.

Amazing location, amazing staff, great food, beautiful ocean view... absolutely worth of money we spent at Basalto. Highly recommend to all...

So much to stay! The staff were all so kind and helpful. The whole property was gorgeous: from the room, to the pools (two! so always sun to be had) it was all really well done. The food was also so delicious and so reasonably priced!
