The hostel is very nice, the location is convenient and the staff is super friendly and welcoming.

The staff is beyond friendly and make you feel like you got a home nearby the beach Only 4bed dorms all with a fan EVERY night there's a shared dinner where you get to know the other guests Kitchen is well equipped and the supermarket where you get pretty much all you need is just around the corner Super close to the beach and its restaurants and bars

“The most wholesome hostel ever with a great vibe”

Everything! The set up is just like the pictures, a proper beach vibe and so good for hanging out and relaxing - it’s the most relaxed I’ve felt in 2 months! The atmosphere that the hosts and their family and the other staff creates is second to none. They are so kind and helpful and honestly felt like I was being fed as part of the family! The dinners in the evening are delicious and such a nice setting for everyone to come together, I loved it. The bathrooms are really nice and always spotlessly clean even though you’re basically living at the beach! I can’t recommend this place enough I think it might just be my favourite hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Thank you to everyone at Mar De Fondo!

“Fantastic hostel with amazing staff!”

This hostel is the perfect example of what hostels should be: friendly, chill, and fostering the meeting of new people. If you have the opportunity, stay for the evening meal around the big table. Not only will you meet new people, the food is also quite delicious! The staff is also absolutely wonderful, always ready to help, and super duper friendly. 13/10 would recommend.

“Perfect stay in Punta del Diablo!”

Pati is a fantastic person who takes care about the people who live in the hostel. I enjoyed the stay there. The location is also very near to the beach.

Nice 4-bed dorm, shared kitchen, hammocks, good breakfast, small bathrooms with a shower and toilet outside of the dorm but they can be locked so there is privacy

“Amazing little gem”

This is such a special place. It felt like home from from day 1. The staff are very welcoming, caring and helpful. There is a ‘buena onda’ feeling that goes around. The morning and evening meals are a great way of connecting with other travellers and the layout of the rooms also make it very easy to socialise, especially if you’re travelling alone. So far, best hostel I’ve stayed in!
