We absolutely loved our stay. There are only a few rooms, and you’re right on the beach. The place is peaceful. The sea is a beautiful shade of blue, and the restaurant is excellent.

“Good hotel”

All was ok

Lourdes at the front desk is so nice and thoughtful. The hotel was really accommodating letting me check in at 4 am in the morning and even let me have breakfast that day although technically that morning wasn't part of my booking. The bed is super comfy, the balcony to just chill, the location right at the beach and included loungers. The restaurant has really good food and drinks too. Very close walkable distance to restaurants. The beach in front of the hotel is a bit busy with party boats loading and dropping people off but they come in waves so it's not too annoying. There was A LOT of sargassum when I went and the hotel doesn't clean it up (they sort of just did once), however just a few steps away there are stretches of beach that the resorts keep clean and set nets up. So it's absolutely gorgeous. I walked a long way left and right on the beach and I would say it was closest to the cleanest bits of beach.

“Great Option to All-inclusive”

Low season, so it was quiet and always beach palapas available. Spacious room, comfortable bed, short walk to Bavaro shops, beach location. Wifi at the beach was great 👍🏼.

“Amazing 😍”

The view from the room was amazing, I could see the sunrise and also the white sand. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable, it was bigger than a king size bed, a big bathroom and wardrobe to keep all the clothes. Also, I love staying just a few steps from the beach. The breakfast is was great and fresh juices and fruit lovely. I fell in love with the pineapple and watermelon. Staff was great, they helped me with some activities we booked and always had a smile. If you stay with them, you can get a free sun bed. They got a restaurant downstairs where you can get a mix of international and national dishes, you need to wait a bit longer but understand that you are in the Caribbean, they are more relaxed. There are shops and other restaurants near by. Also, you can enjoy the sunrise from 5:30am everyday.

“Relaxing stay by the sea”

Great location, close to a variety of restaurants and a market. Direct access to the beach, with a sunbed included. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and spacious, with a cozy king-size bed. The beachfront restaurant is lovely — having breakfast there in the morning is a real treat. One downside: it’s true what others have said — many of the items on the menu are often unavailable. It would be a good idea for them to either revise the menu or have the staff inform guests of what’s not available. That said, the service is excellent, from the reception to the restaurant. The staff is welcoming and always ready to help with any questions or issues. If you’re not looking for ultra-luxury but still want to feel pampered, this is a great choice. I would definitely go back.

“Basic beachfront room just five paces from the sand”

Villa Blanca Beach Club is exactly what it says, right on the one of the nicest parts of Bavaro beach, a few minutes’ walk from town centre. It’s basically a beachfront bar/restaurant with a handful of rooms above. A couple have direct seas views - we were at the side but could look at the beach from our balcony. Clean sandy beach with chairs and umbrellas free for guests. Great food, reasonable prices for DR. Staff were amazing (especially Christopher). Perfect stop for independent travellers like us.

Our experience at Villa Blanca Beach Club was nothing short of exceptional! We would like to express our deep gratitude, especially to Cristian, Cristy, Maleny, and everyone at Villa Blanca. From the moment we arrived (very late at night), the team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Cristian welcomed us with such good vibes, even escorting me to a nearby restaurant and convenience store when the resort’s restaurant had already closed. He stayed with me and walked me back to ensure we were settled, what a great start! Our mornings were always delightful, thanks to Cristi and Maleny 10 stars service, warm smile and helpful recommendations for activities. The location of the resort is unbeatable, just some steps to the beach, with so many fun things to do nearby. My birthday was the highlight of the trip! Maleny and the team made it unforgettable with thoughtful surprises and exceptional care, even the day after. Truly heartfelt and personal service! Special shoutout to the kitchen staff for the perfectly cooked seafood platter—it was a 10/10! The bartender matched that excellence with amazing cocktails, bringing happiness with every sip. And a big thanks to the friendly beach boy, whose warm smile added even more joy to the experience! We only missed a stairs railing. Villa Blanca Beach Club exceeded all expectations with its excellent service, amazing facilities, and incredible staff. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back!

“Really nice place”

The location is perfect, almost right on the beach. The terrace is really enjoyable. The staff is friendly and helping. Room is clean, confortable. Shops, restaurants, tours and even a club really close by (but still not loud at night). The place is safe, the whole district being closed at night and secured with security agents. The breakfast, included, is really good, and the overall food at the restaurant is good.
