Amazing place. Honestly didn't want to leave.... Mauricio is just awesome. A great host, with knowledge for days!!! The bed was great, the facilities too. The location is wonderful, dont be put off as you head up towards an army base - this whole area is amazingly secluded and beautifully rustic and hand-built. Not 15mins from Punta Arenas town centre.

The location in the middle of trees, quiet, about 8 km from the center of Punta Arenas. Good to have a car with you. So happy to have spent 4 nights in this place. Thank you dear Maurizio !!!

“Memorable Gateway”

The craftsmanship of the houses were superb and it felt like a secluded gateway. Mauricio is the best host you can ask for and a jack of all trades. Beautiful property, hot fire if you need the room hot, and great breakfast.

Perfect cabin - very comfortable, quiet and in a lovely wooded area; 10 mins from airport, with lovely hosts that pick you up and drop you off at airport. Would definitely stay here again - thank you!

A little gem tucked away in the trees, it was a great place to stay and very close to the airport. Mauricio is a wonderful host. We had a very delicious steak dinner and the breakfast was good too. The beds were comfortable and the shower was nice and powerful.

We really loved this beautifull place. The host (Mauricio) was the most kindfull person we’ve met. Everything is possible for him; airport pick up, breakfast times doesnt matter and helpfull with transportation trough the city. We loved the cabin and wood stove. We prefer to spend more days here.

“Best place to stay in Punta Arenas (really!!!)”

First of all: Mauricio will be the kindest and most genuine person you will meet on your trip to Chile (Patagonia) or even in your life. He has such a light-hearted way of looking at life, his simplicity, genuineness and friendliness captivated us right away. We were the only guests at the time because it was already the end of the season, and we had the wonderful experience of having the entire cabin available, we felt at home. The kitchen was available, the fireplace was so cozy, the decoration with photos of Patagonia and indigenous people was magnificent, it was the only place where we felt that the decoration made sense. The cabin is in the city, but as soon as you enter the gate (very easy to find), you are immediately immersed in the middle of Nature. It is a true refuge, the view from the window is beautiful with all those trees and we slept super warm! The shower has the best water pressure we experienced during our trip and the water was super hot! Everything was super clean, we simply loved everything. Mauricio was always concerned about whether we were okay, if we were cold, if we needed anything. We loved chatting with him, he has a huge culture and knows very interesting topics to talk about. He woke up so early (4am...), made us breakfast and took us to the airport, all with great energy, always in a good mood!!! We would have liked to have stayed longer, to still be talking to Mauricio - we miss him already! Gracias Mauricio, te esperamos en Portugal ❤️

“LOVELY CABIN”

Loved the cabin. . We were in main cabin with a sitting area, dining area with several guest rooms. The steak dinner was excellent. Mo was a wonderful host. We had to be at airport for 130 am. At first we were going to drop the car off the day before and Mo was going to pick us up from car rental station at airport and then drop us off at 130 am before flight. We ended up just keeping car until our flight left but I was so impressed that Mo was willing to pick us up and then drop us off. Mo was willing to make us breakfast before we left for airport and I am sure it would have been excellent. We didnt want to bother him that early. H e was already up when we were leaving for airport just to say thank you for staying with them. Just a wonderful gentleman.

The family running the accommodation is very friendly and helpful. They are approachable for any questions and even provide pickup/drop-off service to the airport. The served breakfast is delicious and a good start into a day full of adventures in Patagonia

Excellent service: airport pickup (only 10 minutes drive) and they bring you back to the airport anytime. Good meal (we chose fish and salad, delicious). Absolutely quiet at night! Good bed and shower. Totally recommended. This will certainly be the best option in Punta Arenas for a night between two flights, or just a night before or after a flight, or more nights with a rental car.
