“Good stay for a couple of nights”
The room for 4 was quite nice, the beds were very comfortable, so we had a good sleep. There is a breakfast, which is available very early in the morning, which was nice

“Super cozy and friendly Hostal in Punta Arenas”
Super friendly, welcoming, and warm. Breakfast was okay. Very close to the cementery (worth a visit) and a 10/15 min walk from the centre. Totally safe!!

The room and bathroom were clean and had everything to be comfortable. Breakfast was available early and it was really nice.

1. The prices are in USD but when we wanted to pay in USD, they only took larger bills and ONLY notes in impeccable condition (i.e. no little blemishes). If the prices are in USD, you should be able to pay with regular USD & not only new notes in perfect condition. In addition, we were told we have to pay in USD & not card if we want to be exempt from the IVA tax - I don't think this is actually true. 2. I think we were unlucky with our room: the window we had looked out into the corridor of the hostal which was lit up throughout the night. It seemed to be the only room like that & I feel that should be taken into consideration. 3. Breakfast was underwhelming. In general.. not great value for money for a hostel. Prices for accommodation often seem to be too high for what you receive in Patagonia - but you take what you get because of tourist demand.

Okay accommodation. Pleasant staff. Is right by a busy road which is bright and loud, so hard to sleep. Breakfast was pretty good.
