Incredible location. Staff pick you up in boat. Such a novelty and interesting to see way of life. Delicious food. Such comfortable room. Was able to arrange tours really last minute and also to rent kayak directly at the lodge for incredible sunset kayak! Lovely staff.

The room decorations and views are amazing and hope to have more time to stay longer. Ricardo the owner was very helpful to mald everything seamless for us. Though there's mo heater, the bed was ready with at least 5 layers of blankets which I only used 2.

Clean room, very friendly personnel Several breakfast options in the room, on the day when we arrived early we added an extra breakfast for 30 PEN. A taxi can be arranged to the pier at a certain time as the signal for uber is very bad in the neighbourhood. Hot water stable! Heater in the room was working good as well, but bathroom was a bit cold. A tour can be booked via the lodge directly.

We loved everything! The hospitality was amazing, the food was incredible and we loved our little pack up breakfast. The family who looked after us were kind and generous and made us feel very welcome.

The most peaceful and calming place I’ve ever stayed at. Ricardo made sure the travel from the city centre to the lodge went smoothly. His wife was also very lovely and made some lovely dinner (for an extra price) and breakfast. Very accommodating hosts. Highly recommend.

Very responsive and accommodating hosts that ensured all travel to and from the lake was smooth, provided tasty food and help with heating when needed. Spectacular views and experience. Despite reviews saying there was no hot water, there was, though it was limited.

“Fantastic experience staying in a floating island home on lake Titicaca”

I enjoyed a wonderful short stay at Ricardo and Cynthia's floating island guest house. My hosts were super accommodating - great Whatsapp communication to coordinate my pick-up at the port. I arrived very late and the short boat ride to the island through the reed canals under a starry sky was magical. Cynthia was so kind and cooked a delicious omelette for a late evening supper for me, and the breakfast was hearty, too. The room was beautifully decorated, with lots of warm blankets and a heater - I felt very warm and cosy at night. The shower was hot - actually I couldn't figure out how to turn it colder, lol! the toilet was a dry toilet, but I had no problem with that. It's a floating island home, eco chic, not an urban hotel - what the hosts have been able to adapt to fit Western guest house standards is amazing! Ricardo and Cynthia also arranged a tour of the Uros islands and a trip to Taquile island for me for a very reasonable price. I was really charmed by the place and my friendly, knowledgeable hosts, and would absolutely recommend staying here.

“Unique stay in stunning location with the most welcoming staff”

What an amazing place with the kindest people! Nothing was too much trouble. Stunning setting and great hospitality. The staff went above and beyond. Our bus was very late as we got stuck at the Bolivian boarder but they were still there to welcome us in the dark. The room was ready & had been nicely heated so we could go straight to bed. Lovely breakfast of fresh fruit, bread and pancakes, all with a smile. The Uros tour was really interesting too. We stayed with our 4 kids and they really enjoyed it, especially the adventure of arriving in the dark and waking up to the stunning view.

So comfortable and beautifully decorated and set out. The beds were so comfy and had lots of blankets for the warmth. There’s also a heater in the room if you get cold. The staff were absolutely amazing and so friendly and always smiling and helpful! The home cooked meals were also so amazing we ended up just eating every meal there. Such a relaxing few days

This is a highly unique property that allows you to experience a very different lifestyle - that of the people of the Uros islands. If you are after a bit of an adventure and want to meet a lovely, hospitable family, then this is a great place to try for a night.
