“Once In a Lifetime”

It's a once in a lifetime experience and if you go into it understanding that they're in a remote location with their own electricity generation, for example, you're in for a real treat. Also the WiFi isn't bad, considering where it is. There are restrictions on appliances which consume a lot of power and dry toilets because there's really no alternative but I honestly don't think that there's a better place to stay in the area. The views are incredible.

It was away from the rest of the accommodations on Titicaca lake. Our purpose was to relax and we got it 100%. Staff was super caring, already from the time of booking, where they explained the facilities. Food was good as well!

“Relaxing island with friendly hosts”

Ivan and his family were extremely welcoming to their island. The room was extremely comfortable and the meals were tasty. we had three different types of activities available in case we were interested. Ivan was very attentive to make sure we were comfortable and we’re having a good time.  this island is further away from the mainstream Uros hotels which was very relaxing.

The lodge is well into the lake meaning it's quiet and beautiful. You see and hear birds, waves, nature is all around you. Stunning views. The room was super clean, stylish, cosy, the food 5* incl local dishes. The best part - the hosts! Ivan and his family take care of every guest. He helped me with tours and transportation and shared so much about the life of the Uros people. Overall truly authentic and unique experience. Thank you, Ivan! Will come again...

Super stay at the lodge. Ivan and Elvis took great care of us. Activities are included and very interesting. The food is great and well cooked and presented. Very interesting community and history coming back 7000 years ago. Thank you for your hospitality, will definitely recommend!

“Unique experience”

Uros Titicaca Lodge isn't just your normal hotel/lodge in scenic setting - it's an experience! We stayed for two nights, which included full board for two days and a number of activities to choose from including visiting the local community. Thanks to our host Ivan, we learned about the history of the Uros poeple, and how people have preserved their unique culture and lifestyle. The lodge itself is very comfortable - also in comparison with our homestays/lodges in the area. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the hosts take great care that guests feel warm and comfortable during the cold nights. The food was also delicious and very well prepared. I can only recommend spending a few days at this place if you are looking for a unique experience.

Great experience staying on the lake. The views from the room were amazing. The inside of the room was huge and actually much nicer than I expected. The food cooked by the family was all delicious.

Come as a guest, leave as a friend. That's exactly about this place. My family and I we fall in love with this tiny cosy lodge and would love to return again. First of all - the people. It's heart and soul of the place. The island and the lodge belongs to a one family. Philipe and Ivan are very enthusiastic people, they both can be symbols of hospitality, friendship and support. We been treated like if we been guests of honor, or a family members. Even though that we are not that fluent in Spanish, we had no issues about communication. Secondly lodge itself - after we made a booking we recived all the details about our stay and about the facilities. We also checked the weather forecast and realised that we would stay on a lake. So we been prepared. But even though we hasa warm clothes the owners of the place provided us with a small heater to our room and hot water bottles to make our bed warm. They also have coffee/tea available 24/7 without any limitation. The lodge itself is cute and comfy, very well decorated and maintained. You have panaramic windows to sunset and sunrise side, each house separated from each other, so you can keep your privacy. The rooms have a deck to sit outside during the day or stargaze during the night. Hot shower, clean towels and bed linen, warm blankets are available. Absolutely no surprises or issues with all that. The food - home-style food prepared and served three times a day. We stayed for 2,5 days and never ever the food been repeated. The fish is absolutely amazing, don't know how they cooked it, but even my kids ate everything. The nature - there is not enough words to describe how beautiful this place is. This place is must visit, definitely. But please keep in mind that you "go to the wild nature" it's beautiful, but can be a bit cold, so please, get ready.

“Authentic experience on beautiful lake Titicaca”

Ivan and his family were very friendly and welcoming. We were given a private tour around the Uros islands and borrowed their totora boats to row around on our own. They were also very helpful in arranging our pickup in Puno and our transport back to Juliaca airport. The lodge is very isolated from the rest of the Uros islands so it's very peaceful with beautiful undisturbed views on the lake.

“Incredible!!!”

We stayed in the big suite room, and just WOW. Can’t recommend more - Very impressive considering on a floating reed Island. Very comfy bed and great bath with a view! 270 views to wake up to in the morning, and watch the sunset. Ivan was also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, he took us all around the local village and gave us a proper tour. Food also was really good! Again much better than expected given the limitations of being on a reed Island.

Silence, bird life. Rocked to sleep by the waves gently creaking the building as the reed island floated on Lake Titicaca

It was one of the best experiences we had! the place is like a dream: isolated and romantic. The kids of the owners were so nice and funny and the food was absolutely amazing! Although there is no heating in the room we slept very well thanks to an eco friendly heater that they lighted it up while we were having dinner, the views of the sunset and sunrise form the lodge are just breathtaking!
