the local family were so kind. they brought us food to the room while there was raining outside. the heating equipment was good, the bottle of warm water remained warm during almost all night. the lake view is great from the room. the experience was very unique!

Carlos and family were very kind. Amazing location. Fabulous to wake up right in the lake with big windows. Bed super comfortable and warm. Well organised transfer from Puno to the lodge (have to ask). Enjoyed Lake Titicaca tour that Carlos organised (took us to larger tourist boat, full day 110 soles each including lunch). Breakfast and dinner included (veggie option but tell them ahead). Good hot shower.

Carlos and his family were great hosts! Always right on time for transfers, the food was good and he helped us arrange tours and taxi. If you want to rest, this is it!

Carlos was super host. Unique experience, it amazes how you can build islands like this, respect for the people. Breakfast was amazing, our room incredible, huge heater if it’s cold, a lot of layers to sleep in. They take you with boat to the place and bring back and if needed they call taxi. Amazing people !

The staff was very nice. They picked us up from our hotel in Puno and took us to a dock where we were taken by boat to the island. It was a very nice boat ride. The room was heated although the bathroom was cold. it had a beautiful view of the bay. Dinner was simple but very nice as was breakfast. We had to be back in Puno by 9:30 and they got us back there on time with no problem. it was an interesting experience staying on one of the floating islands.

“Lovely local family, amazing traditional activities!”

Carlos and his family are so lovely and cute. He arranged a taxi by his friend Yoni for us to bring us to the Puerto. The boat leaving time was flexible to bring us to his Island - as it was Carlos boat, we didn’t have to pay extra. Carlos and his family made nice dinner for us, and also the breakfast was nice. Dinner was only 25 soles extra and a traditional activity tour in the morning around 2hrs was also only 25 soles. As part of the traditional tour, Carlos was driving us around with his boat and greeting the community, he showed us the local kindergarden, school etc. on the islands! We stopped on an island where locals showed us how the islands are restocked, traditional clothes etc. We absolutely loved it! Carlos also speaks pretty good English! It is very interesting what he has to tell. Just as note, it gets very cold at night and very hot at day. For night time they have a heater and many blankets.

Such a fun place to stay and so comfortable. Loved the boat ride, went for a swim, super comfy beds and amazing sunset view and sunrise on the hills.

“A great experience on water”

The location is a floating island (Uros) and the houses are built on the island owned by (the family of) Carlos. You really feel part of the family! They took great care of us and gave great tips on where to go (like tour to the Island Taquile and Ruines of Sillustani): and arranged it for us (and transported us by boat to the Harbour of Puno everytime for free for that transit).

“Amazing host and equally amazing lodge.”

Carlos took care of everything from start to the finish.. he had us picked from the Peru Hop stop in a taxi to the port.. from the port boat took us to the lodge and the same on the way back. He even gave us a Uros island tour and prepared a fully vegetarian dinner for us. He speaks perfect English and that was a super big help, especially when we were staying away from the city.

The most comfiest bed we have slept in while. Very helpful host.

The owner's family and the whole service is 10/10. Communication was very good, at least two days before our arrival, Carl's family took great care to make sure everything went smoothly and that our trip was memorable.
