“A wonderful, life enhancing experience!”

Our wonderful hosts Isaac and Gladys met us at the dock and from that moment we knew we would have a wonderful and unique experience. The view from our room and sun deck was stunningly beautiful and we loved watching the sunset and sunrise. As it can be very cold in the evening/night, a fire was provided, as well as extra blankets and hot water bottles! We loved going out with Isaac on his reed fishing boat and hearing all about his family history and their way of life over the years. I’d worried about the sawdust non-flushing toilet, but it was absolutely fine! Apart from the wonderful views and unique experiences, it was Isaac and Gladys that made this a very special place. No tourist trappings (though you do have the option to buy Gladys’ craft work. (We bought a lovely embroidered cushion cover) without feeling pressurised. We heartily recommend this unique accommodation- it’s truly life enhancing. Wish we could have stayed an extra night. Isaac was very flexible about timings and took us back to the dock to meet our taxi for the bus station. We were in safe hands!

“An incredible experience”

This is a wonderful way to experience the Uros Islands. Isaac and his wife were so friendly and welcoming. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Isaac took us fishing and on a tour of the islands as well. Highly recommend if you want a more authentic experience of this incredible place.

It was such a beautiful, peaceful space — the perfect place to slow down and fully take in Lake Titicaca. From the moment we arrived, Isaac made us feel so welcome. He took us fishing, brought us to a lovely local restaurant for lunch, and then gave us a boat ride around the Uros islands, explaining the area and introducing us to members of the local community. It felt authentic and personal rather than like a standard tour. Back at the accommodation, we spent the afternoon relaxing on the balcony overlooking the lake — it was incredibly calm and serene. The room was extremely comfortable and warm, which we really appreciated at that altitude. Dinner and breakfast were brought directly to our door, so we could simply unwind and enjoy the space. The bed was wonderfully cosy, and the hot water bottles were such a thoughtful touch. It was a truly special and memorable stay — peaceful, comfortable, and made even better by Isaac’s hospitality.

“An incredibly special experience”

We loved everything about our stay at Titicaca Sariri Lodge. Isaac and Gladys were wonderful hosts. Isaac picked us up and dropped us off at the port with excellent communication regarding timings and directions. Our room was beautiful, the views were stunning and the bed was super comfortable with lots of blankets! We didn’t mind the sawdust loo at all and the shower had hot water. I’d definitely recommend two nights as you get to properly switch off. There’s no wifi which we liked. You can charge your devices with a USB cable. Isaac took us to a local island for lunch and also to check his fishing nets which was really interesting. Gladys cooked us two delicious dinners and they gave us plenty of hot water and teas for our stay. They also brought us hot water bottles each evening which was a nice touch. It was a real highlight of our trip we’d definitely return.

Isaac and his family were incredibly hospitable hosts; polite, friendly, excellent communicators. We felt incredibly welcome. The environment is incredibly peaceful and serene. Very highly recommended.

Isaac and Gladys were perfect hosts. She made us delicious dinner, breakfast, Isaac took us fishing with him. Found out a lot about Uros people and their customs. Loved it there. Very clean, modest. It was my favourite accomodation in whole Peru.

“Wonderful glimps into the live on floating islands.”

This is once in a live time experience! If are you lookin for a comfortable hotel, this is not for you! But if you want to see authentic floating island and people stll leave in a pristine original way, you can count that you will get all possible confort, they can provide. Wonderful hosts: Isaac took us on a tour with the boat and showed us Uros islands community: school, hospital, restaurant, gas station. This is not a stage for turists is their home.

We had an amazing time with Isaac, Gladys and their family. They helped us organise transport from Puno and to Juliaca with trusted taxis at the end of the trip. Isaac took out us fishing and on a tour of Uros island. Gladys’ cooking was amazing. The facilities were comfortable, clean with facilities to keep us warm on the colds night. Highly recommend. We had a really enjoyable, informative but relaxing stay.

Very charming little house on the surreal floating islands of Uros. It has everything you need in terms of amenities and Isaac and Gladys were amazing hosts and took so much pride in showing us their way of life. This property is not to miss if you’re coming to lake Titikaka!

The host family Izzac and his wife were so lovely. The accommodation was a highlight of our trip. It was so good to just stop and watch a community go about their day. Izzac organised a trip to Taquille Island for us and took us fishing. We were served a beautiful breakfast each morning and hot tea at night. You must stay here.

It was an amazing and heartwarming experience!! Isaac and his wife welcomed us on their Island within their community (Uros) They shared their cultures, traditions and history, Isaac brought us fishing to the lake. Room was so beautiful, decorated with Isaac wife’s crafts and the view on the lake Titicaca. Breakfast and dinner were prepared by Isaac wife’s, It was delicious. Isaac is always pleasant

Great location on the make. The room was pretty, well decorated with local arts. The view was amazing. The hosts were welcoming very friendly. The tour they organised and the fishing experience were a huge plus. Breakfast was delicious!

Isaac and his wife are lovely hosts, who made our stay very comfortable. The heater and hot water bottle helped to stay warm at night. Isaac also helped to organize the trip to Copacabana.

The host was really nice and took us with him for fishing and later on for a tour across Uros. Very nice and saved us a special tour. Apart from that, he picked us up and brought us back to Puno smoothly.
