Excellent breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Beautiful cabin for 4 people on Uros Island in Lake Titicaca. You can also kayak on the lake and visit the Uros community and see their handicrafts.

I highly recommend this place without hesitation! Wilson and his family take great care of their guests. Wilson came to pick us up at the port in the evening without any problem. We had a very good dinner, and the breakfast was very generous. He also arranged an excursion for us the next day. Thank you so much to Wilson !

“A truly special overnight stay”

The location is spectacular, lying on the outside daybed and watching the sunset was the highlight of my Peru trip! The family are really friendly and my tour of Uros islands was really special, I learnt a lot. The room is huge and despite the night being very cold, I was incredibly warm in the bed. They provided a hot water bottle and many blankets. The food was tasty. The shower had hot water and a few sockets were available. The lodge offered everything I needed. The two dogs were a fun bonus!

Wilson and his wife are the most gracious and welcoming hosts. The location is great, and if you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life then this property is the best place for it. They also have little puppies and kittens to keep you company.

We stayed on Christmas day for one night. The host arranged for us to be collected in a taxi from Puno and then took us by boat to the floating island. On route to the hotel we stopped to see a family on another uros island who explained the way of life and we took photos and bought some hand made items from them. The hotel/cabin was very clean and had a great outside area to relax. The meals were all all inclusive and very tasty, we even bought more wine from the host when we ran out. The composted toilet was a new experience but overall not a problem. The value for money was incredible for the service provided. We highly recommend staying here.

“Great hotel in lake titicaca”

If you want to experience Lake Titicaca in a less touristic way, this place is perfect. Great location, further away in the lake. It is a very peaceful and relaxing place. Room was big, with a huge bed, which was very comfortable. It was cold, but the bed had Loads of blankets and the host brought us some hot water bottles before bed. Dinner/lunch are an extra, but food is lovely and not too expensive, and they bring it to your room. You can ask the host to organize an excursion to Uros and Taquile. Great way to experience the lake, would definitely come back!

Stunning location, the biggest most comfortable bed, super friendly and welcoming hosts (especially the dog who we wanted to take home with us!). The food was tasty and plentiful. Wilson organised everything brilliantly. We did the full day tour which was well worth it.

I liked everything, Wilson and Lisbeth were extremely helpful and attentive. All the services that they provided were exceptional like breakfast and dinner, despite of the cold weather their lodge had many features that helped us feel warm and comfortable. The food was amazing, they took into account our dietary restrictions. The only bad thing is that we didn’t stay longer.

“Great Lakeside Lodge Stay”

The serenity and peacefulness of the location. The size of the lodge was perfect and the front and back patios gave you all day sun. The family were friendly and their dog and they didn't linger around....although I wouldn't have minded being more involved with them in fact. Bed was very comfortable and we had lots of blankets, towels and hot water bottles. Shower had hot water although wasn't powerful and the toilet was a compost toilet. This is all expected and not a problem being in such a wonderful place. We had such a lovely experience staying here.

“Unforgivable staying”

The Lodge was wonderful, cozy and with a stunning view all around. During the night it’s very cold but there are plenty of cocers and Wilson gave us also hot water bags. Wilson was super kind and available for everything. He and his wife made our staying super comfortable. We also booked the tour to Lake Taquile through him for 120 soles each, with included transportations and lunch at a local family. Plus we discovered the incredible culture of Uros community: how they build the floating island and how they live there.

Wilson and his wife were wonderful hosts. Everything was organised from transfers to day trips, food was really good and lots of it.

“A short but very sweet stay at Jaltawi Lodge”

An amazing experience staying with Wilson and his family. Easy pick up from PeruRail station with Wilson meeting us in his boat at the lake edge to go to his house. Even though we were late, his wife had prepared a lovely dinner for us. Night time is extremely cold but with layers of blankets on the bed and a hot water bottle it was warm in bed! Next day Wilson took us on a trip around the Uros community which made the trip for us as we really got to see how they live. Lovely breakfast and lunch provided before we were taken back to the airport. All in all a really lovely experience.

The view over the lake is very beautiful. So perfect location. The family, who is living on the same island, is helpful and friendly. We had a great time and it was indeed a unique experience!!!

A really special place with all the comfort for staying on a floating island. The room was gigantic, two floors, a lot of space to sit outside, board games, 24 hours warm shower, tea and coffee always available. Wilson and his family were amazing, so kind and they told us much about their culture! The food was delicious and abundant! The tour was super nice! In the night it gets cold but the amount of blanket, the hot water bags, hot tea and the gas stove make it really comfortable and warm. The stove should be off during the night but indeed, the amount of blanket is perfectly fine to have a good and warm night sleep. A really special experience, I would definitely recommend it to anyone ❤️

Absolutely amazing stay on lake Titicaca with the most incredible hosts. They are so lovely & really look after you. The place itself it’s an amazing experience, situated on a floating island.

“Amazing stay!!”

Amazing floating house with great view and all facilities to relax and enjoy the place. Wilson and his family are great hosts always ready to help with anything. I found myself in a situation where I needed extra help and they have been precious. In the house there is hot water and some board games, plus they have kayak you can go around with. Dinner and breakfast were also great!!

This was an amazing place! The hosts were so kind, gave us loads of information and even took us on a small tour of some nearby islands. The food was amazing! Very generous portion sizes and they were able to cater to a vegetarian diet. It was cold in the lodge but we always had plenty of blankets, a heater, hot water and hot water bottles to keep us warm so it was never a problem. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
