Eddy is a super nice host, tasty food, amazing location and views over the lake from the terrace (not in the middle of the touristy Uros islands as many other hotels), really interesting and informative Uros tour with opportunity to skip the touristy part, everything is really well organzied and Eddy makes sure to get you to the lodge even when your bus arrives late

“Tranquil stay on Lake Titicaca”

The view was spectacular and Eddy and his family looked after us during our stay and also facilitated us going kayaking on the lake as well. They even gave us hot water bottles to keep us warm at night. The place was so tranquil and definitely a must do whilst you're in Puno. The transfer was easy, just gave Eddy an expected time for arriving in Puno and he sent a taxi to come and pick us up plus organised the boat transfer to our lodge. As we arrived so early to Puno, we appreciated being taken over to the island in the morning to relax on the lake. Fyi as I couldn't find much info beforehand there was a 65 sol taxi and transfer fee pp, 5 sol unos visitor fee pp and there were activities such as kayak (40sol), Taquile (120sol) and Uros tour (40sol)- worth bringing soles in cash but they also take dollars and card.

The accommodation was comfortable and clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Very beautiful interior and great view at the lake. Good food and friendly staff, they also offer tours on the island. Easy communication with the host. The bathroom is really basic with only a flushless toilet, but everything is clean and there is running water in the sink and a shower.

This hotel is not value for the money . Toilet is not able to flush . Instead we have use sand after using the toilet. Very unhealthy. Booked 3 rooms but stayed only one night . Booking.com should refund the money . No water after 7.00 pm .

“A truly unique stay on the Uros Islands”

We had a wonderful time with Eddy and his family on the floating islands. The transfer ran like clockwork and we were treated very well. Our dietary requirements were catered for extremely well, which were were extremely grateful about! The setting is simply stunning. The sun rose behind us and set in front. Although it was winter, we were warm enough at night under the blankets.

Beautiful views with large spacious rooms. A great place to relax after a busy trip. Food was simple but delicious. It got very cold at night but there were plenty of blankets and hot water bottles to keep us warm!

Such a tranquil piece of paradise. Run by a beautiful family. It felt like you were part of the family. Generous breakfast, lunch and dinners. Everything was easy and effortless. Eddy made everything easy and seamless, especially organising the taxi and boat to take you to and from island. Highly recommend, was a highlight of my Peru trip.

Eddy, his dad and mom Salome were incredibly sweet. If you're looking for an authentic stay on Lake Titicaca, look no further! They made us a generous dinner when we arrived, gave us hot water bottles to stay warm during the night (we were impressed by our room, great view and plenty of space), breakfast the next morning, and Eddy kindly took us for a little boat tour around the area before our Taquille excursion, and even showed us his new kittens!!! They also kept our luggage for us after we checked out, and both taxis from our bus in Puno to take us to the dock were very punctual.

“Unforgettable stay at a breathtaking location!”

Titicaca We, a Family of four (2 kids, 14 years and 12 years) stayed 2 nights at the lovely Titicaca Aruntawi Lodge. The house we stayed in is very comfortabel and nicely decorated. The bathroom is basic. Eddy, his parents and sisters did their utmost to make our stay as memorable as possible. Breakfast and dinner is very tasteful and they also took the allergy of our son into account. There are no functional wall sockets in the house so take into account to charge you devices prior to your stay and possibly use power banks. We had issues charging our camera but Eddy’s father helped us out and charged the battery for us. We also booked a tour to Tanquile island. It was nice but a little too touristy for us. A long boat trip and the dancing with locals felt little authentic. We could possibly have better chosen the Uros tour with Eddy. At the end of our stay they also helped us with organizing a driver from Puno to Yanque. To summarize, we loved our stay at this breathtaking place with Eddy and his family.

The Lodge was located very nicely and the view, especially for sunset, was incredible. Eddy and his family are super nice people, we booked all-inclusive and had the 2h Uros-Boat-Tour on the day of our departure, which was very interesting. In addition, they did a great job with the gluten-free meals (as my girlfriend is coeliac).

Fantastic stay with Eddy, really comfortable and excellent food! We spent two nights which was perfect to relax and explore. Would highly recommend.

Amazing stay on the lake with amazing host Eddie and family! Lovely room with beautiful views and terrace over the lake. The tour with Eddie was really informative, with great English. Amazing food and great hosting. Overall a once in a lifetime experience, can’t recommend enough!

Basically staying at somebody’s house in your own room given we were floating on an islands the facilities were great. Food amazing and well looked after
