Overview
An indoor swimming pool, landscaped water fountains and a hot tub can be enjoyed on the shores of Titicaca Lake. Guests can book a massage and enjoy the meditation area. Rooms have direct lake views. Taypikala Hotel Lago boasts recently refurbished Colonial style galleries and a spacious lobby with interior plants, polished parquet floors and elegant cream-coloured sofas. The rooms in Taypikala Hotel Lago feature wood furnishings and antiallergic carpeted floors. Some rooms are styled with pastel shades and feature spa baths. A full buffet breakfast with tropical fruits can be enjoyed at Jardines del Lago Restaurant with views of the garden and lake. Guests can treat themselves to local flavours. Car rental is also available. The temple of Fertility is located only 200 metrse from the hotel. Taypikala is just a 20-minutes drive from Puno’s city centre and 10 km from the archaeological ruins. Excursions can be arranged through the tour desk.

“Comfortable and relaxing”
Spacious, clean room with large bed. Amazing garden full of flowers and lots of benches in different corners to sit down. Nice swimming pool. Friendly and welcoming service.

“Excellent stay with exceptional hospitality, just needs better Wi-Fi”
We stayed at Taypikala Lago for 8 days, and overall, it was an absolutely excellent experience. We loved almost everything about this hotel and highly recommend it! The Highlights: Out-of-the-Box Staff: The team here is incredibly helpful, friendly, and supportive. A special shoutout to Rut and Glen in the restaurant, who were exceptionally attentive, warm, and made us feel so welcome every day. Fantastic Food: The food is excellent. Whatever we ordered was delicious, fresh, served hot, and of the highest quality. Great Location: It is located just 20 minutes by car from the center of Puno. We easily used Uber and Cabify to request taxis in advance, which cost around 40–50 PEN (Soles) per trip. Final Verdict: Despite the internet struggles, the incredible hospitality, beautiful setting, and amazing food made our stay unforgettable. We would definitely stay here again!

“It's OK, nice views and great staff.”
Rooms were large, reception staff very helpful and exceptionally accomodating. The views over the lake at sunrise are stunning.

“Hotel with great lake views”
A hotel that harks back to yesteryear. Was probably thriving in its day.The hotel was a long way from Puno centre but in a location magically overlooking Lake Titicaca. The staff were very pleasant. The room was clean, very comfortable bed, great views of the lake over rooftop gardens.

“A relaxing place to stay with a fantastic restaurant”
Quiet 4-star hotel overlooking Lake Titicaca. Decent rooms, good modern bathroom. A little far from the water, but the views are still good. Excellent restaurant and generous buffet breakfast. Plenty of parking, although it's a bit of a hike uphill back to reception, so unload first.

“View to the Titicaca”
It is a big hotel close to the lake. Not too far from Lima, but outside the town. For me is an advantage :) The rooms are nice and comfortable, the restaurant is so big with view to the lake. The food was very good. Silent area, good sleep :) Room 301 is perfect!! The garden is nice.

“Peaceful stay”
Gladys at reception was lovely and so helpful. The room with the lake view was incredible. The bedroom was spacious with a nice ensuite bathroom including a bath.
