Overview
Situated in downtown Puno, the Royal Inn offers colourful suites with free Wi-Fi one block from Plaza de Armas central square. Facilities include a lively bar and complimentary parking. The floodlit rooms at the Royal Inn Puno are decked with honey-coloured wood and bright red and orange fabrics. “Central.Quiet. Good value.”
Central location, right on Puno’s main square, yet surprisingly quiet and relaxed. The best shower water pressure we experienced in Peru. Breakfast was varied and satisfying. The reception lady was friendly and helpful.

“Perfect location in an extremely comfortable hotel”
Lovely place to stay. Well furnished, big spacious room, all areas of hotel thoughtfully laid out with seating areas in lots of places. Helpful staff at reception, location is fantastic just off Plaza de Armas. Very pleasant place to stay.

“A perfect old-school base for exploring Puno.”
Superb location on a quiet pedestrian street just 50m from Puno’s main square. Wonderful period Art Nouveau decor throughout the rooms. A throwback to the days of the grand independent hotel that is becoming harder and harder to find in this age of identikit corporate chains and boutique experience nonsense. Great value for money.

This hotel did a good job providing everything we needed. It had a cosy feel and good breakfast selection. Spa bath and free tea and coffee in reception were nice touches.

“Perfect”
After almost 3 months of travelling on a budget we decided to treat ourselves to one night and this was the perfect stay. Friendly and helpful staff; they booked us a taxi for the next morning to get to the bus station. Cosy and spacious room. Really comfy and warm bed. Hot shower and bath (with jets!). Delicious breakfast.

The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was superbien, and our waiter Johan - was serviceminded and spoke good English. He could respond and inform us about lokal traditions and over the problems with the algaes in the Lake. We also had a nice dinner. The massage I got was very good.
