We wanted an experience on the floating islands and this is what we have got. The casitas are great, you enjoy the silence and the view of the lake. The family was great and trying to make the best for you to feel good. I really recommend if you want the experience. They make the best out of what they have so make sure that you have fair expectations

We liked very much the view from our room and the hosts which are very friendly and fun. We had nice activities of fishing and touring the islands with one of the hosts (included in the price). He explained us also the history and customs of the Uros. The food (all meals were included in the price) was also tasty. They were able to accommodate for my gluten allergy.

Eder and Felipe are really kind and sweet. Made us feel home from day one. Also arranged perfectly pickup and drop off. My husband enjoyed a lot fishing with Eder, who took us out on the puma boat. The ride to the Uros islands with Felipe was very informative too. The room is beautiful with an amazing view on the lake. The food was tasty and abundant. I would recommend this place!

A unique overnight experience on Lake Titicaca. The family gave us a very warm welcome and we felt at home right from the start. The guided tour of the Uros islands by the family was very interesting and included in the price. We can really recommend it to anyone. One of the best experiences in Peru.

The trip to the lodge and the view from our room was just amazing, such a unique stay! Eder was really interesting to talk to and explained all about the way of living on the islands, the history and current life. He was super accommodating, he took us back to town at 6 am for us to make our early bus departure. A stay here will be a highlight for anyone!

The location, the lodge, the food and the hospitality were absolutely fantastic! The lodge was located perfectly to admire the sunset, the food was also fresh and delicious and Edgar (the host) was always friendly and took us to amazing tours / activities.

It is by far the most unique and tranquil, serene accommodation I have ever stayed at. Perfect for winding down after intense days of trekking and exploring around Cusco. Great opportunity to learn about different ways of living, people of Uros and their culture. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, the views and location couldn’t be better. Food was homemade and delicious. Yes, it gets cold at night but the host makes sure you have everything you need to be warm. Bring layers and you’ll be more than fine. Would love to stay there again!

Very unique hosting with Eder and his family

“A unique, stunning location we will always remember with an incredible host who helped us experience a completely differ”

The property is on one of the many floating islands in the Puno Bay, but one that has accomodation built into it to allow tourists to stay. As such it is a unique location to stay on the magical Lake Titicaca. Eder is an amazing host and all food is provided within the price, you will not go hungry. We stayed longer than most guests with three nights and we had the usual trips Eder provides to one of the nearly Uros islands and a fishing trip. Then on the last day, Eder arranged for us to tag onto a boat tour to the island of Taquile, all included in our payment- this gave us incredible value for money!

The family is very caring, but they also give you your private space. It feels very special to be a part of their world for a short moment! Even though we had a reeeeally bad thunderstorm for one night and it got really cold, they put a little ethanol heater and it kept us cozy.

Top experience in our Peru trip. The idea of sleeping in floating islands made of straw is unbelievable in itself but doing it in such a beautiful and comfortable way was just breathtaking. The host will personally take you on trips to the Uros community and explain all the intricacies of surviving and thriving in the community. The food is simple but delicious.

“Enriching experience”

The experience was truly out of a kind. It was humbling and enriching to discover more about the Uro community and lifestyle. All that said, the accommodation had a feel of luxury to it. The host was amazing and his hospitality was exceptional. On the day when we left to Bolivia he organized breakfast for us at 5:30 AM and waited with dinner until 10 PM. All of the water transfers and lake bank-terminal transfers were included in the all inclusive option. The host’s English was great and the trips he offered were extremely interesting. On the island you could also buy souvenirs made by the local community to further support them. This was also the only stay in Peru where the host accommodated my partner’s request for adding onion to an omelette.

Just wow, what an incredible place. The location is STUNNING. The room is beautiful. The bed is insanely comfy. The food is great. The host family are the best - the tour and fishing trip with Eder was a highlight of our whole trip (after a couple of months travelling) it was a truly authentic experience. It’s a little on the more expensive side but amazing value for money.
