Overview
Surrounded by 100 hectares of olive groves and fruit and vegetable gardens, Tenuta Del Barco is in Pulsano in the Salento region. Dating back to the 17th century, this agricultural property is set around the original farmhouse. Here the ex stables have become comfortable apartments, which overlook the courtyard. Within the pinewood you will find wooden cottages that are gathered in groups of two, ideal for families. Tenuta Del Barco is an eco-friendly wine resort, powered by solar energy. It uses its own olive oil, fruit and vegetables in es at the restaurant. The buffet breakfast also includes homemade food. You will find tennis courts and five-a-side football pitches on site. Bikes are available to rent. There are a number of public beaches in the area and the busy port of Taranto is just a 30-minute drive away.

Amazing place to stay in the pinetree forest, beautiful swimmingpool, beautiful beach closeby, delicious meals and wine in the restaurant and truly the kindest and helpfull staff we ever experienced on holiday, we felt as if we had a personal assistance, Fiorenza, she is truly wonderful and made our stay exceptionally pleasant!!

“Holiday in Puglia”
What a fantastic experience at Tenuta del Barco in Pulsano. From the front people Brenda and Deborah to Bernardette and Erica who served us a scrumptious breakfast everyday. We cannot not mention Felice and Piero, the exceptional waiters, who served us dinner on the most beautiful court yard. Last but not least Leonardo, who takes care of the pool and bar. A big well done to all. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. We shall be booking again next year for another amazing experience.

The staff were exemplary! They were so hospitable and couldn’t do enough for us! Always checking up if they could assist with our stay. They organised free wine tasting and the service at the bar and restaurant was also welcoming and accommodating. The surroundings were beautiful and grounds well kept. The pool area had a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the pool was beautifully maintained. The rooms were clean and functional.

This place is truly magical—the sound of birdsong, delicious food and wine, an amazing pool, and just the right distance from the beach and the beautiful Adriatic Sea. We stayed here for a week while exploring Puglia, and it was the perfect base—close enough for sightseeing, but also ideal for relaxing days in. As a boutique hotel, it never felt crowded, especially around the pool, which made it even more enjoyable. The staff were wonderful—kind, thoughtful, and incredibly accommodating. A special thank you to everyone at reception, especially Debra and Barbara, and to the bar and pool staff—you made our stay exceptional. Brilliant place. Brilliant people. Thank you all!

Beautiful resort in the vineyard with a very kind staff. We very much liked the delightful dinners in the authentic court yard! As well as the swimming pool with more then enough beds. The beach is just 2km away, the reception arranged beds/parasol and parking :-) the sea is like the Caribbean!

“Peaceful and traditional masseria closed to Taranto”
The property is beautiful and peaceful and the staff is welcoming and very careful to their guests. Spacious accommodation, we loved our cottage surrounded by pine trees. Good food, and a well stocked breakfast.

Everything was great! Location was fab for driving out to different places accross the region and the Trullo was lovely. The pool is especially beautiful and so peaceful and quiet. We loved it and had a wonderful stay. Thank you.

“Lovely relaxing stay in the Puglian countryside. Great food and wine, and amazing pool”
This is a lovely hotel/wine resort in the countryside. Our room was a one bedroomed apartment in the old main building, with kitchenette for 4 people. It was very beautiful - a big living area with sofa beds, dining table and kitchenette and a very big separate bedroom. The stone ceilings are beautiful. The swimming pool area is amazing and so very relaxing. We have Italian friends who live nearby (Lido Silvana) and we booked a table at the restaurant for 11 of us. The food was delicious, great wine and the service fantastic. And the dining tables were set in the beautiful courtyard full of flowers. Lovely! Breakfast was good and served in the pool bar with lot’s of choice, cakes, cheeses, cold meats and fruit and a cooked breakfast menu (additional cost). We found our 2 night stay very relaxing, surrounded by nature (and wine!) and we will definitely be back!

“Magical masseria with an amazing restaurant and first class service from Viviana!”
The entire property is magnificent - with the courtyard evening restaurant ( and its food) and the almost brand new pool area just perfect. Special mention for Viviana who helped us endlessly when we had our hire car break and needed to communicate with the company. she also bought us sunscreen because we ran out and had no way of getting it without a car!
