Best apartment I ever booked on this site! Everything was spotless, the kitchen was well-equipped, it had extra facilities like a hot tub and sauna, all included in the price. We had the huge, well-kept garden all to ourselves. But what we liked the most was the tract of river that was deep enough to swim in; we had it practically to ourselves. Our Labrador was fond of it too, obviously. Aldo is an amazing host: he left us plenty of things to taste (free of charge, the Italian way). He's glad to share his knowledge on all the things to see, eat and do in this underrated region. You can make several rewarding trips from here, either to Slovenia (Soca Valley) or Friuli (Cividale, Udine, Lago di Predil...)

“Dream house in dream location”

Do you know that feeling when you come to visit yours relatives and you get the best living area, and all you feel is cozy, comfort and care. This is what we felt in Caso Pikes. Hosts Aldo and Luisa are the example of what hosts should be, such amazing and inspiring people. When you come there the house you get is big, with nice interior, where everything is done with big love and with high quality. What you see here in photos on BC, in real life it looks even beter. We were so grateful for the opportunity to visit Caso Pikes, this nice feeling will stay always in our hearts. Thank you Aldo and Luisa, what you are doing is worth even more than 10 points.

We had a broken car, had to find another - so we arrived between midnight and 1 a.m. - nevertheless both of the owners were welcoming us like a family and show You all the necessary instead of seeping. We had 100 % clean large appartement with alll we needed and very large green garden with the beautiful Natisone river just on it. It was so pleasant to swim in Natisone, canoing in Soča (18 min by car to Kobarid), swim in the Adriatic Sea (70 min to Sistiana), visit Trieste (80 min) visit the religious sights around (Castelmonte -20 min, Grotta d´Antro -8 min), go up the Matajur Hill 1645 m. When You arrive from Your trip, Aldo, the owner who loves it there will ask if anything is ok, offers You to taste the beautiful local wine and many other things......If You have any trouble, he is anytime around and willing to help. The same as Luisa, his wife. Our children want back to Casa Pikes immediately :)

What a wonderful place and hospitality! Aldo and Luisa welcomed us with local Foccaccia and wine when we arrived, and they welcomed our dogs like us! The accommodation is spacious, clean, well equipped. We saw no shortage of anything! We could park our car in the garage. The garden is huge, well-kept, tastefully designed, in different parts we felt as if we were resting in a new place. The view is stunning! Aldo and Luisa know the area well, and at our request we received several suggestions on where to go on a trip and get to know the nearby settlements and sights. Within 30-45 minutes you can reach Aquilelia, Grado, Udine, Triest, Slovenia, Predil Lake and Fusine lakes. We will definitely come back again!

Great house with a huge garden with enter to the river! The host Aldo was perfect, helps us with everything, gave us some wines to tase and was there always for us. We really enjoyed the hollidays here.

The house is very well furnished, tidy and comfortable. It is situated in the Natisone valley and surrounded by pictoresque mountains. The garden is large and lovely, the Natisone river flows at the end of it. One can swim in the river which is clear, you can even see the fish. In the evening birds come to drink from the river. Our hosts Aldo and Luisa were extremely kind and helpful. There are many sights to visit nearby (Cividale, Gorizia, Udine, old churches in nearby little villages) and you can also make trips to the nearby forest. Canyoning, rafting is also possible in Slovenia on the Isonzo (Soca) river, only 45 minutes away.
