“Terrific stay on the wonderful and laid-back Isabela Island.”

The room was large, very clean and well-equipped. Joel is an exceptional host, was readily available, and offered plenty of good advice. He recommended Rosedelco for our Tunneles tour, which was an inspired choice - Edwardo the tour leader was great and made sure everyone on the tour had a great experience.

Our stay at Joel’s was just fantastic. We had the big room at the ground floor and it was equipped with everything. It also has space outside to hang clothes or just relax. Water is always available. And it is perfectly clean! The room was cleaned every day during our 5 days stays, and every other day Joel changed the linens and the towels. He’s a fantastic host, so kind and helpful with all our requests. We recommend 100%!

The room was a good size, really nice and clean with a little kitchenette with a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Drinking water was provided. The host was super nice and helpful and very responsive answering all my questions very quickly.

Joel is a welcoming and attentive host. He's always around to answer any questions and made sure I had a comfortable stay. The location of the accommodation is excellent. The pier and Concha de Perla, as the center, are all within 10-15 min walking distance. The room was clean and has airconditioning. A good recommendation for a restaurant at 2 min walking distance: if you go out, take a left, then again first left and next to the mini market with the swordfish you find a nameless restaurant which offers good and afforfable meals (also vegetarian!) for 6-7USD cooked by a lovely lady.

The location made getting everywhere easy and the host was fantastic.

Great location between the port/snorkelling spot and the town. The room was basic but had air conditioning and was perfect for our stay.

We loved our stay with Joel. The triple room has an AMAZING shower, it was hot and powerful, perfect for after the beach! The room was very clean and beds very comfortable. Joel is a wonderful host and even let us use the shared bathroom shower after we checked out (as our ferry wasn’t until 3pm)

The place was cozy and had everything we needed. Joel was very helpful as well.

Joel was by far the most amazing and helpful host we had during our Galapagos trip. From the start the communication was easy, he booked tours for us and helped with sorting taxi for our ferry back home. The room was great, cleaned on a daily basis, beds were comfortable and the shower had plenty of pressure and hot water. Filtered drinking water was also provided.

The host was really friendly and accomodating. There was a kitchen with utensils and our room has a kitchenette which was handy. The room was clean and really close to the main beach area. The host made the experience great.

We stayed just one night but it was nice stay. Room was clean, wifi was good and we could use kitchen. Joel let us check-in very early and it was easy to communicate with him. Good value for money. He has few snorkels and fins to borrow. Very good location in the heart of town.

We loved our stay at Joel’s place. He was so accommodating, offering advice for tours and helping us with laundry. He also had snorkels and flippers available to borrow free of charge. The room was comfortable and had everything you would need with good internet connection and a HUGE shower with hot water. The room is also cleaned everyday which we really appreciated ☺️

“Good choice for stay on Isabela”

Apartment is spacious and we felt comfortable there. Joel is kind owner and always tried to help us with everything.

Hostal is a 5 minute walk from the centre, close to mini markets and food options. The host is really kind, gave us some recommendations and allowed us to check in early from the ferry. The room was clean and tidy, and the wifi was good!

Joel was unbelievable hospitable making us feel very welcome and was generous lending his bikes and snorkel gear for free. Assisted us further with tours which were incredible. The room was perfect which he cleaned each day. Loved our three days here could have stayed longer.
