“Quite room with good amenities”

Carlos was very helpful and answered promptly every time we asked for suggestions or advice on what to do in Isabela. The room itself is decent size with good AC and well running hot water. They have a fidge at reception and are happy to store small items there if you need them to. They provide a laundry service and clean the room daily. We spent 7 nights here and it was great!

The hotel is a few minute walk from the beach, very confortable and was ready by the time we arrived, even befit the check-in time.

From the moment I made the reservation and received a prompt welcome mail to the moment I left Hotel Star Fish I felt really good taken care off ! Carlos is an amazing host, who makes you feel home away from home ! Upon checking in you get all the necessary information about the hotel,the island and possible tours for which he even makes the reservations if you wish ( at no additional cost). I could choose from two different rooms which had been made ready for me for to check in . I arrived from an early morning boat transfer and could already check into my room , as well stay in there on the last day until my flight left at midday. Carlos took care as well off my taxi reservation besides always trying to get the right tours for me. I had a really nice big quiet room at the back of the building , the air conditioning was one of the best I ever used and you can make yourself coffee or tea at any time and fill up your water bottle at the reception area. I can only say : Thank you so much for everything, and I hardly recommend Hotel Star Fish, also due its central, but still quiet location in town ( breakfast across the street, real good restaurants close by, beach in short walking distance).

We had such a lovely stay at Hotel Starfish. The rooms were comfortable and clean and it was a quick walk to anywhere you wanted to go. One of the best things was the amazing service by the staff. Carlos greeted us when we arrived and made sure we had the best time. He had so much information and helped us with tours and organizing activities. He was even so kind as to help us organize tours for our return to Santa Cruz. He truly made our stay spectacular!

The manager Carlos is super helpful and caring, he could help us with organising tours and generally is very hospitable. The bed was very comfortable.

We liked everything, bed and pillows were good, shower was great, aircon is clean and silent, room was clean, location is just 5 mins away from main square, and a very friendly owner who helped us with everything, from taxis to booking guides.

Staff were amazing. Always fruit and drinking water available. Even brought us a fruit platter one afternoon whilst sitting in the courtyard. Room was very clean and very large bed. Great location.

“Best Hotel in the Galapagos”

Our best hotel in the Galapagos Islands and during our South America trip. Everything is renovated, new and modern. The rooms are attractive, very clean and the daily room service is excellent. Finally a hotel that thinks practically when furnishing the rooms. There is enough storage space and shelves as well as possibilities to hang things up and dry them. The shower has perfectly hot water with high water pressure. The owner and all the staff is very friendly and helpful 24/7, you feel welcome all the time. The location of the hotel is very good, a few minutes to the beach, great restaurants and bakeries within a minute's walk.

The staff Carlos was very kind and attentive to us. The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was good too! I sometimes didn't want to go out because the room was so comfortable with a nice AC! Comparing to what we paid in other islands, this place was definitely worth every penny.
