The location was great

We (a couple, 32 years old) booked this accommodation for a total of 5 nights. As soon as we entered the room, we noticed that the entire bed, underneath the bedspread, was covered with long black hairs. We removed most of them ourselves. The sink drain in the bathroom was also still full of hair from previous guests. Additionally, the description stated that Wi-Fi is available in all areas. However, the Wi-Fi in our room did not work at all. On top of that, the shared kitchen was locked during normal daytime hours on the first two days, leaving us standing in front of it with our groceries, unable to cook. We contacted the owner via WhatsApp since the reception is not staffed and it is generally difficult to find someone to talk to. The kitchen was eventually unlocked, but all other issues were completely ignored. The next day, we raised the Wi-Fi issue again. Someone attempted to fix it by installing a second router in our room. To do this, the owner’s husband drilled holes into the wall without moving our belongings or informing us beforehand. As a result, all our things were covered in dust. In the end, they decided the location was not suitable and removed the router again. The Wi-Fi problem was never resolved until check-out. The hair in the sink drain was also never removed, despite supposed daily cleaning. In general, the accommodation no longer reflects what is shown in the pictures—maybe it did 15 years ago. There is no real place to relax except for the bar, which is not directly part of the accommodation (and not usable when it rains). On the rooftop terrace, there is an old pool table that is no longer usable—no cues or balls are available. The grill and seating area are cluttered with old wood, probably from a collapsed roof. We addressed these issues again in person with the owner. She reacted in a very rude and dismissive manner. There was absolutely no willingness to acknowledge the problems or offer any form of compensation.

All was perfect, except wi-fi on the third floor. It went off. All the rest 10/10

Pretty much everything, lovely place and staff. Would love to stay again if we were ever lucky enough to return.

I had the most comfortable and welcoming stay here. Everything was close by, the place was beautiful and I slept better then I have in months. The owners were amazing and helped me book tours, taxis and a late check out when I asked. The facilities were kept spotless and I really appreciated the friendly nature of The owners. Its right by the beach so you can hear the waves at night and only a minute or two walk from the best restaurants and bars. Couldn't recommend highly enough and I'll definitely stay here again if I come back to the Galapagos.

Miguel & Edit were amazing hosts. Family run business which was nice. Had an issue with the aircon when I checked in which was immediately resolved by switching rooms. Great to have the beachfront bar and everything an easy walk. Rooms were clean and comfy. Miguel organised my tours and taxis which were all amazing.

Staff incredibly helpful. Booked my excursions at check in, and always around to answer questions. Room was clean. Bar across the street was great to meet other travelers. Kitchen to store food, and drinking water available for all. Great price on a pricey island.

Best hotel on the beach of the whole island. It is composed of two buildings, one on the beach where u have the bar and some rooms and the other on the other side of the street. We enjoyed the live music and having a beer with our feet on the sand watching at an incredible sunset. It's close to some good restaurants. Everyone was friendly and the best part is that they have escursions you can book directly with them. Ask a mischelada and enjoy the flow, best feeling ever We want to come back.

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. Great location and super clean room and kitchen. The owners were also super helpful. They helped us book tours and arrange taxis etc. Would highly recommend.

“Great hostal”

I loved that hostal, my room (#3) was beautiful and had a hammock inside. The bed was super comfortable. Bathroom was small but had everything I needed, water was hot in the shower. There is air conditioning. Filtered water in the kitchen. A nice terrasse on the roof. The hostal is right by the flamingo lagoon, a short 5 min walk to the center of town, and very close to Bar de Beto where we can go for an access to the beach. The owner is super nice, she recommended some restaurants, a lavanderia and she helped organize my taxi to the airport. I would definitely recommend that hostal!

Loved my stay here. The rooms, the location and the staff were perfect. The rooms was a spacious three bed room and the cleanliness was second to none. The hostel is location on the road after the main street, opposite where the flamingos chill. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The hotel is one step from the beach , we had the room on the rooftop and there was a nice terace with a view towords the flamingo lagune that felt like it was our praivet terrsce. The owner were so nice and booked us all tours as well the ferry ticket. The room was very brigth and the bed was very big.
