This Is a 2 star motel with an amazing location on the beach. It is fine for few days and there is not much to choose from on this island.

Gorgeous sea view, great location, excellent breakfast, and friendly helpful staff. Filtered water was readily accessible. Laundry service was convenient.

You could literally go from the room straight into the ocean, simple but nice hotel, have everything you need. A bit small common areas, but doable Nice and friendly staff. They helped with every question we had.

“Beachfront Paradise”

The location right on the beach was excellent. The room was spacious and well laid out. Staff was incredible. Our first room was at the end of the walkway into the complex, so there was no privacy whatsoever unless we closed the blinds, but then we'd lose the excellent view. Our second room was so much better for us. Also, I injured my ankle during my stay. Lovely Melia accompanied us to the nearby medical center to interpret for us and make sure I got the care I needed. That, to me, was beyond customer service. They really care about their guests.

“Nice stay at hotel volcano”

We got transferred to hotel volcano a sister property as we were told our room was damaged from the previous clients. We had a nice sea view. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were contactable via whatsapp and helpful.

The location is unbeatable.

The room had a great view of the sea and beach. It is well situated (the town is very small). Friendly staff.

The breakfast was great...I enjoyed the eggs made to order. Melina and Tatiana did a wonderful job of making sure everything was great and all our needs were taken care of. I highly recommend Casita de la Playa if you plan on staying on Isabella. The island had marine iguanas and blue footed booby's just a short walk on the beach from the front of the hotel without having to get a tour to see them. There was also a place next to the dock where you can go snorkeling with sea lions! A truly unforgettable experience...just have to rent a snorkel from

“relaxed stay on Isabela”

This was a late birthday trip and there were discounts so I splurged a little to stay on the beach. Loved the location since there was only the dirt road, then the beach. It's incredibly hot and having access to wind from the water felt so much better when walking. Also made it easier to catch the sunrise and sunset. Only a block or so from the "center" so the restaurants are nearby, although you need to walk further to find cheaper options. Great staff, mostly interacted with Paola who gave me lots of information about the islands and contacted the tour companies for me. I also gave her the money to give to the tour companies when she walked home, which helped when I didn't feel like walking out in the heat. The room was big and comfortable, the water took a while to heat but then got quite hot. a/c was excellent, wifi worked decently as it could, breakfast with a view was delicious, they turned their water machine on so you actually got cold water. With covid travel restrictions and requirements, I also appreciate the hotel contacting me about the salvo conducto instead of me chasing after other hotel/cruises. They charged my credit card before my trip so I didn't have to worry about that bringing cash for that. I highly recommend this hotel, I definitely felt the downgrade when I first moved to a hostel on Santa Cruz.

The location was great, I love hearing the ocean everyday and breakfast was good and coffee was great. They serve the breakfast upstairs with the nice ocean view. The hotel is close to everything.

“Fishbowl rooms with bad smell; expected better for the price”

The initial welcome was lovely, and the location on the beach was very nice, but it was hard to enjoy the outdoor space because of the flies. The breakfast was also fine, though nothing special. The Mexican restaurant at the back end was the best we found on the Island.
