My wife and I loved our stay at the Black Pearl. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. The hosts Lienke and Dario are so friendly and helpful. They really give it their best to make your time on Isabela enjoyable. They give fantastic recommendations on what to do on the island, where to eat and drink, help organizing tours and renting out snorkeling equipment. Thank you both so much! 🙏

“Enjoyed our stay but no wi-fi”

Comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful hosts. We were able to book tours with them and they provided alot of information about the town. You have to walk into town but it's not too far.

We both slept very well at the black pearl. The owner is very friendly and helpfull and gave us some good recommendations which we really enjoyed. We had a very pleasant stay here and would definitely recommend to book this place when staying at Isla Isabela!

“Perfect stay”

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The space was very roomy and perfect for our family of 4 with three single beds and one double bed, so everyone had plenty of space and comfort. The beds were very comfortable and the hot shower was a great bonus after long days exploring. Lienke and Dario were incredible hosts. They shared great tips to help us make the most of our time in Isabela and even helped us book excursions and arrange our ride back to the port, which made everything so easy. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like daily housekeeping, fresh water, and having a fridge with beer (on the honor system).. It made the stay feel very comfortable and convenient. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Isabela.

Very nice hosts with lots of helpful tips and quick to respond in case of questions. We could also store the luggage after checkout. The breakfast was also very good with a bit of variety of choices. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, there is really nothing wrong with it.

“Easy stay and very helpful owners!”

Black Pearl was very comfortable and impeccably clean. The facilities are great - I could even have a shower after check out which was great after a swim. It is a little further out from the main part of town - but only 5 minutes walk as the town is very small, so easy to get to! Lienke went out of her way to help with luggage storage, tips and sorting out rooms for me. It made a huge difference to my trip to have such a helpful and friendly host. Would highly recommend if you want an easy and relaxing stay!

The host was responsive and friendly. They cleaned the room everyday, and had facilities in the common area as well which is very convenient when you arrive early, or leave later than the check out or just to rinse up before getting to the room. They also rent out the wetsuit, fins and snorkels per day which is very convenient.

This is one of those properties that feels like home. The owners are so welcoming and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and good quality. Bonus is a super friendly lady who lives opposite and will do all your washing for you.

“Perfect! A must stay on Isla Isabela”

We had a wonderful stay here! The appartments are beautiful, spacious, comfortable and complete. Everything you would need is there. Also, everyone knows Lienke and Dario. On arrival, we told the taxi driver where to bring us - Black Pearl. "Ah, at Lienke", was his response. Since we're Dutch like Lienke, it was very nice to chat and hear about live on the Galapagos Islands. She booked us a tour, dropped us off in the center, as she was also heading there, and even drove us to the ferry pier on check out day. We could leave our luggage at the premise, so we could hang out in town before our 3pm ferry. The location is just off center, which makes it a nice and quit place to stay. Isla Isabela was our favorite island of the 3 islands we visited. If you're Dutch and you'll stay here: Lienke likes jong belegen kaas en zoute drop ;-)

Communication with the owners was excellent. It is a nice short walk from the middle of town, everything is 10 - 15 mins walk away - perfect. The host helped with organizing tours, her inputs on restaurant, tour and all suggestions were very accurate, thanks a lot for that! Coyld rent snorkeling gear from them directly. Purified water is accessible at site - perfect! The place was big, clean and comfortable! There is a fridge, kettle and all in the appartment. Thanks again for everything!!

Lienke was very helpful in booking our tours as well as providing all kinds of useful information about the area. I liked that the property was on the outside of town but still a short walk to restaurants, markets, and the beach. The room was quiet and was cleaned every day. Access to a fridge, dishes, and filtered water was very useful.

“Home from home”

Lienke made our trip to Islabela so easy. We checked in early. She talked us through the town and good places to eat. The apartment was really clean and bright. It’s only a short walk to town maybe 10 mins and 15 minutes to the sea front. The walk is very easy.
