“The most special and beautiful stay!”

We literally had the BEST time at Satta Lodge. This place is so beautiful, the pictures cannot even show how beautiful it is in real life. You wake up in the middle of the jungle, the bungalows are so pretty and comfortable, and the breakfast every morning is fresh und simply delicious. A special thanks to our host Bryan who not only did a special privat kayak tour with us, but who also showed and explained the Costa Rican wildlife to us. We felt like coming home and to anyone who might think about making a reservation at Satta Lodge: DO IT!

This hotel is just perfect. I really like the design of bungalows with open bathroom and toilet behind the door. We were looking for something in the middle of the jungle to feel the nature and this is what we needed. There are no glass in the windows so you can hear all animals all the time but everywhere is the mesh so no insects inside. We didn’t have any mosquitoes during the night which is cool. Humidity in Costa Rica is high and it’s hard to dry clothes or towels but they change your towels every day. There are not many rooms/bungalows so it’s very intimate hotel. Breakfasts are very tasty and the owner is super nice, communicative and helpful!

“Wow factor jungle lodges”

Unique jungle experience. The junior suite exceeded expectations as did the staff, pool and bar/breakfast area. Despite us having a week of rain, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Bryan and the team work very hard to ensure your comfortable and have lots of advice so you can make happy memories at Satta. It is a long way from the main road, good as long as you have a car or enjoy a good hike up the hill! Though the Tuk Tuks are a great way to get around and are relatively cheap. Make sure you take some guided experiences to get the most of this area.

Beautiful setting and gorgeous decoration of the junior suite and grounds with every little detail thought about and a really friendly and helpful host (Bryan). Would love to return here it was heaven.

“Wonderfully relaxed Caribbean jungle stay”

Set right in the jungle this place is so beautiful and amazing value compared to other places we stayed in Costa Rica. Each room is its own lodge surrounded by trees and vegetation so there is lots of privacy and it feels like your the only people there. The staff were outstandingly helpful and helped us organise a private mangrove kayak trip, which was wonderful. Breakfast was nice, self service and very relaxed. The pool was great. The water is quite cold, but that's ok, because the weather is pretty hot! There were board games and books for everyone to use. It had a very relaxed feel, like you were visiting a friends home. The rooms themselves are beautiful, great bathroom and you can hear nature as you sleep which was really nice. I'd highly recommend it here and would happily go back.

Bungalows located in beautiful scenery among greenery and sounds of the jungle. In the morning animals run around. Service very nice and helpful.

This place was a slice of heaven! Beautiful lodges at the edge of the rainforest where you can spot monkeys from your balcony. The whole site is beautiful, with a great swimming pool and delicious breakfast. The staff were all super welcoming and kind.

It was a beautiful setting in the jungle. There were lots of animal noises and sloths to see as well as monkeys. A truly nice little gym located not far from the shore.
