I loved staying here. The beautiful room, surrounding jungle, the location! The breakfast was amazing, the location is perfect, near the beautiful beaches. The owners Wade and Lorrie were so friendly and helpful. This was the best place we have stayed.

What can I say, everything was considered, lighting, facilities, luxuries. privacy. The whole place was so well done, we absolutely loved it, the owners weee informative without being in your face. Lots of nice wildlife bobbing about. The pools and outdoor space were so well done and honesty bar was well stocked. Breakfast was all homemade and varied each day, you never felt as though you couldn't ask for anything. Lots of good recommendations too. I can't say enough good things about this place. “Best Stay of Our Whole Trip”

This was hands down our favourite place from our entire three-week trip to Costa Rica. We loved it so much that we actually cancelled another place we had booked in Cahuita at the end of our trip just so we could come back and spend one more night at La Paz. The room was beautiful and immaculate, and the bed was very comfortable. We especially loved the outdoor shower feature. The drying rack in the room came in handy after a day at the beach. The property is quiet and peaceful, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The rooms are surrounded by gorgeous gardens which made it feel very private. We saw lots of wildlife, and even had a two-toed sloth in the tree next to our room! So cool. We also saw toucans, macaws, and lots of howler monkeys too. Laurie and Wade are exceptional hosts and shared all kinds of great recommendations for restaurants and local activities. Their breakfast is phenomenal, so delicious, our compliments to the chef :) We can't wait to visit again. Pura Vida!

One of our favourite hotels from our whole month in central America. Beautifully designed rooms - feels like you're in your own private jungle. Lovely pools. Loads of wildlife in the garden including monkeys. Exceptional breakfast. And walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops etc.

Laurie was such a lovely host. Regarding service, we felt like home, or even better :) We fell in love with the jungle atmosphare, all the animals and flora around us. Laurie’s breakfast each day was absolutely delicious and made to the details. She and her staff was very kind and helpful. This stay has everything, mainly soul - thanks to Laurie. Excellent location. Close to the beach. Lots and lots of wildlife on the property and nearby. Hosts so incredibly helpful, kind and accomodating. Great recommendations for the local area. Felt really safe and at ease as a solo traveler. Super breakfast! Loved the outdoor shower option too.

“Amazing stay with jungle sounds and great breakfast”

This was the best accommodation we had in Costa Rica! The location was peaceful and beautiful, and the daily breakfasts were excellent (with gluten-free options that I appreciated a lot!). The villa was spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable, and we loved falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the jungle.

Staff members are very friendly, all recommendations we got were accurate. The place is absolutely magical, surrounded by the jungle. Breakfast was always tasty and very fresh.

A dream place, we absolutely loved it! Bungalows built th the highest standards, with the sound of the jungle at night , which made our sleep sooo relaxing! Outdoor shower is a great touch! Hosts are absolutely amazing, going beyond ,to make your stay perfect! Delicious, fresh made breakfast that can be shared with local wild animals, who come to visit during breakfast, was an unforgettable experience :) Location, value for money ,everything surpassed our expectations.! 1000% recommend and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in the future!

We have been travelling for 6 months and this was hands down the best accommodation we've had the pleasure of staying at. From the most comfortable beds and cleanest rooms, to the lushest natural environments and wild fauna, to the hosts and staff that went above and beyond to make our stay as good as possible.
