“Great Place”
Very comfortable and simple rooms. No fuss checking in and very attentive staff. Quiet location and good for spotting the occasional sloff and humming Bird.

Lovely little hotel not far from the beach and town but far enough to not hear too much traffic but could still hear the sea. About 1 min from beach maybe 5 mins from town Had a visit from a sloth and an agouti ( I think it is) whilst sat on balcony plenty of birds absolutely loved it

I arrived early to a very friendly welcome from Alana, nothing ever seemed to phase her, she always had a smile and was patient with me, as I didn't get the knack of locking the door. The room was spacious with everything you could need and it felt safe. You could hear the waves crashing, geckos calling and I saw both racoons and an agouti along with many colourful birds in the car park The hotel is on a little side street away from the action so it's quiet and I actually felt safer walking down that road to the hotel than on the main road in the dark, when it, rained as it seemed to have better lighting. It was only a short walk to the centre no more than a 10 minute walk along the road or even a dawdle on beach during the day I'd definitely stay again, a big thanks to Alana and her Tio, who also made me feel at home

“Great place to stay”
great staff ! Alana super welcoming and helpfull. good beds , hot water and AC working perfectly 10 min walking to puerto viejo , theres a new sidewalk that goes from the main street by the beach to puerto viejo . perfectly away from noise but close to town . We were able to shower before leaving even after check out , thanks for that !

This little hotel is a jewel. I loved staying here. Alanna and Javier were so welcoming and kind. If you want to experience "la pura vida", this hotel has the vibe. My room was sparkling clean and had a little closed terrace so I could experience the outdoors. You can hear the waves in the sea from the hotel. Highly recommended. Gracias!

“Best place to stay close to Puerto Viejo”
Jilma the responsable for the hotel was a really sunshine and I felt like home. The 3 other workers was also like able people and did a good job every day. I loved my room with a small kitchen and everything was very clean. La Playa Negra and Playa Puerto Viejo very close and Puerto Viejo with all you need in walking distance from the hotel. I stayed there for 2 weeks.

“nice hotel but horrible road”
lovely spacious room with two sets of big windows, which I liked most. the kitchenette was useful since the hotel didn’t provide breakfast. it’s very quiet day and night.
