Everything was amazing. We especially loved the location. You can easily rent scooters in town, and there are many beautiful beaches around Puerto Viejo to explore. The surroundings are stunning and perfect for relaxing and discovering the area.

“Relaxing and friendly”
A really lovely place to stay. Away from the main roads so quiet at night. The staff were all so warm and welcoming, they helped us with booking tours and recommending restaurants (which were excellent). The hotel itself is well-maintained with a relaxed vibe, wildlife flitting around the grounds, and several friendly cats. The room was very clean and spacious, the shower was powerful with hot water (if required). The bedframes were quite creaky and there is no glass in the windows (but covered by mesh and curtains to keep mozzies out), but I can wholly recommend staying here.

“Pura Vida Vibes for the Win!”
The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms are fabulous, a real Costa Rican vibe. I can't say enough about the cleanliness.... The cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at. I was there for 11 days.... Clean sheets every three days, fresh towels daily, garbage emptied daily. Impeccable. The location is perfect ... Not downtown, but a very short jaunt to all the amenities you could possibly need. Very close to several beaches.

5 minutes walk to heart of town and beach. Lovely staff. Big room. Lots of greenery in the communal areas. Water filter for filling our bottles. Relaxed.

It was fantastic just like last time we were here. When we decided to return to Puerto Viejo we didn‘t think twice about where to stay. Everyone working there is super friendly and welcoming. We loved the cat visiting our room daily! Everything is super clean, they make your bed and replace your towels daily. Highly recommended.

“Highly recommended - home away from home”
Good location — the beach, all the restaurants, a large supermarket, a laundry shop, Alamo car rental, and breakfast places are within a 5-minute walking distance. You can park your car safely at the hotel. The general area is just lovely and makes you feel at home, with the lovely staff, plants, shells, and cats. The rooms are big, and rooms and towels are cleaned every day. The shared bathroom is clean. They light up the cozy lamps in the hallway at night. Again: it makes you feel at home, away from home.

“Perfect place. Perfect stay. Couldn’t have asked for more :)”
I loved my stay here! Cindy, Mercedes and Almut took the best care of me and the hotel was perfect :) open space, very comfortable and clean room and just a stone’s throw away from the main road, shops, restaurants, bars and a beautiful local beach - I literally couldn’t have asked for better or more! If you’re looking for warm and friendly staff, and a clean and comfortable place to lay your head in a central location, then I would highly recommend a stay here :) I hope to return one day soon!
