“Paradise”

Amazing house in the jungle, it has everything we needed, a short walk to the road with restaurant, we could also use the pool from the hotel that administrates the villas.

The accomodation`s location is perfect, it is located very close to the sea, surrounded with beautiful jungle. In the house there is a well equipped kitchen with water cleaner and 2 bathroom. Rosa and Hector were very helpful and friendly. We could feel the "Pura vida" at the whole Caribbien side of the country, everybody is so calm and friendly.

“Perfect place to get to know the Caribbean way of life.”

House is situated in a Jungle-Like garden, every morning at 4:30 am the howler monkees were our alarm clock. A hummingbird was nesting directly in front of our house. The house is situated near to beach and restaurants, but outside enough, so there was no noise. Perfect. Charlene was very friendly and helpfully. The living room is huge, like a ballroom.

The house was spacious and comfortable in a quiet area. Lots of animals in the garden.

The location is incredible. So much wildlife at your doorstep, i.e., in your garden. We saw monkeys, toucans, agoutis, and lots of beautiful butterflies and birds. Very spacious house for 4 people, and we loved the outside seating area. There's beautiful beaches nearby - we especially loved Playa Chiquita and Punta Uva. It's also a short cab ride to Manzanillo nature reserve, where we saw loads of monkeys, a sloth, and some of the most gorgeous beaches I've ever seen. It's also relatively quick to cycle into town (took me around 15 minutes). Charlène explained everything very well, and it was easy to find the property. There was a folder with local recommendations in the house too.

The owner Charlene has a lovely apartments. Our was beautiful, large, confortable, clean, the kitchen is well eqquiped. There is an hamaca to lay down and a lovely terrace to relax. Next to our apartment we also have a play ground for kids, we were travelling with kids and that was just perfect. We also hired bikes with seats , the owner helped us out to arrange the booking, she also fixed a problem with a bike that we have straight away;) Near by the minivan plyas, beaches (play cocles, chiquita)and we could also ride to Playa Uvita. Near by restaurants, supermarkets. She also washed our clothes and dry it with 6 $. We had a lovely time in here..just in the middle of the jungle..on our way we saw many animals. Thanks Charlene!!!

“10/10 stay in Puerto Viejo”

This was without a doubt the best accommodation we stayed at in 6 weeks travelling Central America. Such a beautiful property nestled in the jungle, with wildlife all around you. The house is spacious with lots of room for 4 and the fans and shade kept it nice and cool inside. The place has everything you need and we spent many hours playing cards outside on the deck. Would absolutely stay here again - we wish we didn't have to leave! It is out of town at gorgeous Playa Chiquita, with lots of shops and food options nearby. Thanks to Charlène for being a kind and gracious host ☺️
